The Storage Management app now allows you to delete Xcode caches and older SDK versions. I believe you could do this manually but it wasn't available in Storage Management before. Now it is. Pretty nice.

I have found that turning off transparency makes it a better experience for me

I hope that Apple removes the round-menu bar selection. I dislike that considerably. The icons are interesting but I am not the biggest fan of them. This version of macOS needs some more polishing which I am certain will happen before the final release.

If they want a floating dock, they should add a margin at the top as well. I am really triggered by all these inconsistent gaps throughout the system, especially the ones in the dropdown menus in the menu bar. They've overdone it with the rounded corners for my taste. In some cases it just comes across forced and obsessive.

Can someone post a pic of mail.app? The demo during the keynote doesn't show lines and separators and I thought it looked super clean but other screenshots I've seen show them.

Now that I look at it, I found one thing that could bother me. Dock has more padding on the bottom than on top. It looks horrible.

What bothering me is that Docks shadow is overlaying the Safari when Safari is in front.

Also i think the padding is because of the opened app indicators same is for Catalina

Is it possible to have other menubar icons placed in the new Control Center?
The 'Dock and Menu Bar' settings has two sections - the first section lists the options that are always there in CC. You may choose to show/hide each one of them from the menu bar. The second section shows few more, which you can show/hide from CC and/or menu bar.

Does the lockscreen still show the default wallpaper even though you changed it to something custom?
I still have yet to figure if that was a change in Catalina or just a bug...

That appeared to be a Catalina bug, but I can't reliably replicate it now. I had it happen twice, once with just one custom choice and later on after establishing the four desktop spaces I usually maintain; it wiped out three custom wallpapers and substituted the default Apple photo, plus laid that photo into a fourth space where I had picked a different one of Apple's offerings. I put my four choices back again the way they were and haven't seen the bug reappear (yet).

In Safari, there is a new option when searching to specify whether the search term is at the beginning or anywhere in the text.

That isn’t new

Ah, must've missed it! I quickly booted into my High Sierra machine to see if it was there and it wasn't, so must've been added last year or in Mojave.
Im pretty sure it was in Mojave

And the trash can should be more to the right. The Finder icon and the trash icon are not alligned properly. This has been an issue since El Capitan.

I copy/pasted the line from the top of the icon to the top of the other icon. As you can see, the trash can has more space after it than the Finder has before it.
