The only glitches I've had is Word sometimes displaying the first line of the text (not title) as white instead of black.
For it being the first developer beta, its more stable than Catalina on my MBA 2017! (Catalina kernel panick'd sometimes at midnight (or when I was sleeping) for some reason)). Love the iconography! Except for the battery icon.

Also, for some reason, my malfunctioning Magsafe 2 charger decided to work with OS11, even though its mostly a cable issue.

In Safari, is it possible now to show favicons along the favorite bookmarks bar?

That's the only thing I don't like about Safari currently, I find bookmarks hard to aim with just text... Every other browser has the favicons shown.

Can anyone confirm if:
- Control center can be disabled/removed from menubar
- Notification Center can be killed/removed as in prior versions

Has there been any change to the Books app, especially WRT audiobooks? I was really unhappy that the Catalina Books app won’t let you edit metadata, sort by author last name, play to more than one airplay speaker at a time, and puts all of the files in an obfuscated directory that can’t be moved to an external volume.
The main reason I installed the beta was to test if there were any changes to the books app. The only change I saw was that it is possible to edit metadata. For my part I will be staying with Mojave for one more year. In Mojave, after installing iTunes 12.6.5.3 and deleting the horrible Books app I can do what I want with my music/book/audiobook files. Also drag end drop to my iOS devices works without syncing.
Anyway, it seems people don’t read anymore. I have never seen any mention in the press of the fact that you cannot transfer to iOS devices any of your own books. They must me bought from Apple and SYNCED. No manual transfer. I regret having Apple dictate how I should do. I know I can use airdrop but that is not the point. The point is Apple’s SW is a mess. it is obvious that they have developer teams that do not use the stuff they are developing.

The 'Dock and Menu Bar' settings has two sections - the first section lists the options that are always there in CC. You may choose to show/hide each one of them from the menu bar. The second section shows few more, which you can show/hide from CC and/or menu bar.

What's annoying is that Spotlight in that menu shows as disabled, for the Menu Bar, but is still there. I've reported it, but still.....

Is it only me or does Big Sur improve the rendering of small fonts on sub 4k screens? I have a 34'' Dell 3440x1440 screen that I have to use with a windows desktop because on Catalina the fonts look like its 1982. This seems to have drastically improved on Big Sur for me. Not yet Windows levels of clarity, but way better.

Did anyone else notice this?

Installer question: while installing Big Sur, does this trick still work?

It worked in Catalina, so hoping they didn't remove this functionality in Big Sur.
