Did someone take this error?

I saw this error when using VM, but in my case, I am just using a MacBook Pro 2012, I followed the steps carefully but I received this error message:
"The operation couldn't be completed. (BIErrorDoamin error 2.)"

Error looks is in your first command:
/Volumes/Image\ Volume/set-vars.sh
... you need a space after "Image\"

oops: I see you caught it!

Did you try tab-completion on entering the command to run set-vars.sh? It will tell you if there's a path problem.

I read that somewhere don't remember what page it is and I did tried that one and came out "command not found"
just wondering if ok anybody over here like location Riverside, OC or LA that can help me? Thanks

BarryKN has that tip (to try tab competition).
I'm no expert by a long shot, but if I were you, re-download a fresh copy of BarryKN's micropatcher ver. 0.1.0 and run his unpatch.sh command. Then re-patch the unpatched USB installer -- might just be something got messed up in the first micropatcher.sh run. At least it is something to try until the "big guns" arrive here! Good luck.

Had the same (expected) issue on MBP 13" mid2012. You need to run the installation from a micropatched USB installer. Follow Barry K's instructions.

I'm a rolling stone.
Has any tried to update beta 5 to beta 6? Mine is kind stuck at preparing mac is beta 6. I think I just might leave it alone and see how long it takes

This confuses me, normally you won't be able to download it on an unsupported Mac, did you change your Mac model, like in spoofed the Mac model?

Looks like in Big Sur beta 6 they changed the icons for the external drives. Has more of a 3D look to them. Not flat as before.

This flat crap was boring, I think Apple realises this now, hopefully they will go back full on to the 3D Icons.

There's seems to be something wrong with NVRAM , might be corrupted, I would reset the NVRAM and SMC first, they redo the set-vars.sh command, see if that helps.

Reset SMC, dependable on your model.
Reset NVRAM Hold CMD+Option+P+R at startup, hold and release after the 3rd startup sound, then hold Option to startup from recovery to input set-vars.sh

Installation of the Beta 6 on my iMac 2011 / 780M / BCM94360CD with a modified @Barry K. Nathan micro patcher done....

After patching the USB installer put in the iMac2011Family-highvoltage12v.zip into the kexts folder on the patched USB installer and unzip the new patch-kexts-iMac-2011.sh.zip and put it at the same spot where you find the patch-kexts.sh provided by @Barry K. Nathan (version 0.1.0).

Follow exactly the guide @Barry K. Nathan created, just call the new patch-kexts-iMac-2011.sh instead of the stock patch-kexts.sh. Call the script while booted into Big Sur on your iMac. The new script needs a working OS to check the card type (NVIDIA Kepler or AMD Polaris).

Have fun! You may also check my first post about this mods...
