Hello, on an iMac late 2013, (14.1) which works perfectly with Monterey 12.2, (OCLP 0.4.2), do you know if AirPlay and Side Car can be "activated"?
They do not appear in the system preferences for one and in the sharing preferences for the other ...

MBP5,2. Two more tests:

- just downloaded OCLP latest 0.4.3n version. It includes a fix for legacy keyboard backlight, as SkyLight plugin, put into place by applying the 0.4.3n post install patch over the 0.4.2 one. Works well for Monterey (12.2) and Big Sur (11.6.3). I've retired Touché now which I've used so far for the purpose.

- Books in Monterey: the Monterey version (4.2) didn't work well as it doesn't show the thumbnails for the contained pdfs, and more. Now using the Big Sur version (3.2) also in Monterey, and that works. Very likely due to missing Metal.

Only deficit remaining in Monterey: can't use the USB3 ports of the nanoTECH expresscard for mass storage, which works well in Big Sur, including for booting disks attached to USB3. Certainly a Monterey problem (not OCLP), but didn't find the fix yet.

Updated to macOS 12.3 B2 on the external HDD. Installation appeared to be rather slow, but it was run overnight and was not timed.
The brightness slider in Systems Preferences Displays disappeared until OpenCore-Patcher had been run. The slider and transparency are now working correctly.
There appears to be a new Advanced window under Displays with three settings for Universal Control. Haven't been able to test them yet.

I can't get the Keyboard backlight to work. How did you do it?

Successful update to 12.3b2 via OTA Update and OCLP 0.4.3n, unattended, flawless performance so far.

Update for any folks running a similar setup, been on 12.2 and 0.42 for around a week now, all seems to be good and no issues; this is running on a P2 256Gb crucial drive.

Hey everyone,
I just want to report the successful installation of Monterey 12.3 b2 on my MBPr 10,1. Since I use it especially in clamshell mode, I did not expect the desktop to show up in external monitor right after the update, because I thought the graphic drivers would be missing prior to patching the system with OCLP. Instead, it did, without graphic acceleration i guess (no transparencies, very laggy performances) but that was just good enough to let me apply the post install patches, reboot, and have back the fully functioning OS. Also, the boot picker did show up a very few times while in clamshell mode before the last updates (monterey and OCLP), but now it shows up every time. Yay!
Thanks for the splendid work the developers did, to let us still use our old but gold hardware.

Update macOS 12.3b2 atop b1 OTA >OCLP_043N/offline variant. Everything appears intact or improved.

AHOY!? OCLP_043N on 12.3b2 fixes the QuickLook corner selectors.? No more guessing where the close selection went. The Screenshot controls are back. The Displays CP now offers Advanced options for those with specific hardware combinations. Messages scrolls like a supported Mac. ?
