Updated to 12.2.1 using OCLP GUI 0.4.1
Initiated the update, went out or coffee, came back after 1hour and I was greeted with 12.2.1 w/o graphics acceleration and wifi. After running the post install patch, everything works, as it should on my current specs, without any hitch.
Kudos to the brains behind OCLP and to all contributors in this thread.

My iMac 21 late 2013 (14,1) firmware is up to date now! 👍🏻

I went through Mojave (same as for my Mac Mini late 2012) installed with a key on an external USB drive, then an update in Catalina online directly offered for the OS Mojave. The firmware of the iMac 21 late 2013 (14,1) updated well after the security update. I did an NVRAM reset to ensure before updating to Catalina.

Small precision, and I do not know why, I have to use a USB 3 hub connecting to one of the USB inputs from the iMac to start the MOJAVE key because it did not appear in the boot picker with the option key.🤔

(I have also a 27" late 2013 (14,2) on Monterey OCLP 0.4.2, but the firmware was already up to date).

Long life to OCLP!👌🏻

OCLP 0.4.2, MacPro3,1. GTX 680 Mac Edition.
Got boot loop trying to update from 12.1 to 12.2.1 (using install over existing install). I also tried the original OCLP that I used to install 12.1 in the first place.
So I installed to new partition and using migration assistant. Hopefully it will succeed.

Is an update supposed to be possible? My 12.1 required the post install patches for Nvidia.

Yes i upgraded my gpu to K3100M so it needs post install patch, but if you can get your hands on some amd gpus listed on 1st post, you will not need patching. I also would like to get amd gpu but those listed on 1st post are extremely rare here in the Philippines so I just make do with what is available here.

Any idea why 2-finger back/forward in Safari aren't working for me? (12.2, OCLP 0.4.2, MBP6,2)

Setting is of course activated:

I'v had the same problem a while back. K two advised me to check the Discord where I found this solution:

Yes I know that's where 4.2 is, I'm talking about releases newer than what's there. I've seen people mention nightly builds and 4.3 etc.
Have a look at #4,311 .
But be careful with using such nightly versions of OCLP as they represent work in progress and may contain bugs. In the worst case this could make your system unbootable - by a bad EFI or a bad post-install patch (which is more severe).
Make sure you read the change log in the OCLP github page before use:
https://github.com/dortania/OpenCore-Legacy-Patcher
When you make a new EFI from a nightly, use an external medium for that, don't overwrite the OCLP EFI you use so far. Also for the post-install patches, apply them to a test installation of macOS on an external medium, not to your production macOS.

OK excellent, many thanks. Considering the oldest machines I'm running this on are a late 2014 imac and late 2012 imac, I'll stick with 4.2 as it's all working ;)

I'd assume you have not upgraded the GPU in your 2011 iMac 21.5". It's normal to see some display glitches due to your non-metal GPU card. For more info, you can have a look "2011 iMac Graphics Card Upgrade" in this forum (not this thread).

Hi :)
Is it possible to paste the solution here, since I have no discord account, so the link doesn’t help?
Thanks in advance!

I see this constant trinkle of requests for nightly build links. My take is there should be zero support from anyone for these builds. Read the CHANGELOG if you can find it. If you can’t find it, then stick with the public release. Understand it or not, you are on your own. The nightly builds are a do-it-your-self exercise where reading comprehension is key.

Please stop cluttering the thread with these requests.

The developers have instructed the direct links NOT BE POSTED for a good reason. ;)

You are basically telling everybody who cares about this topic, who is eager to test, to try out, just for fun or just to learn something new to eff off. That's the developers audience. Many have been there from the beginning. Nightly build or not, its called a community and this is a support forum. If you don't want to help, just don't answer.

Hi,

I have a MacBook Air 2013 and installed OCLP 4.2. This MacBook Air had been used with bootcamp before.
When I am now booting this device, I am not seeing the EFI partition of OCLP although I have selected the system drive for OCLP installation.
What I am seeing instead is the normal Mac Partition and a Windows Boot partition.

Any idea?

regards Martin

I am done with Monterey, back safely to Big Sur, Volume Hash Mismatch did it.
Can't stand it happening in the middle of work, application stops responding and have to restart.
I have the same issue and done with Monterey too =(
MacBookPro11,1, OCLP 0.4.2 and Monterey 12.2.1.
I tried reinstall the OS twice but result the same =(
To be honest, it's sad because it seems that my macbook worked better (faster) with Monterey.
