I did not realize there was a newer version out. Thank you so much for making this post and letting me and others know about the new release. I cant wait to try the new version out.Slight correction Payne, latest release of OCLP is 0.2.4 https://github.com/dortania/OpenCore-Legacy-Patcher/releases/tag/0.2.4
It's working very well here!
No, still need to use termina to kill bluetoothHas the problem with bluetooth been solved with this beta?
I can't understand. Why when i click to update from software update to beta 6 after restart i'm again with beta 5. Anyone else with the same issue?
P.S. I used oclp 0.2.4 stable and macbook pro 15 2014 mid
Migration Assistant is buggy in Monterey.(crashes, resulting in KP after reboot) You should try to migrate data in Big Sur and then do OTA update to Monterey.)Turns out I installed OCLP to my internal drive rather than an external. Started over and got Monterey installed without any signs so far of kernel panics that I got when I tried this a few weeks ago.
I was using Migration Assistant to move things over to my clean install after that fiasco and the computer abruptly shut off for unknown reasons about an hour into the process. Hoping it’s an unrelated fluke, unless anyone has a reason to give me for thinking otherwise.
Reinstalling over top from USB does not work either. (Installer ends in half of first stage) You have to run installer from Opencored Big Sur.Ah, good to hear that it’s not just me. I’ll maybe have to just restore from my backup and reinstall Monterey over top.
Yes you have to install Big sur from OC USB, restore backup and then run Monterey installer/OTA update from running BS.(did that twice and worked fine)I'm so confused. I managed to get the migration to succeed when I tried again, getting the friendly "okay it worked we're gonna reboot now" screen at the end. However, I continue to encounter kernel panics about half the time when I boot up (using the OCLP EFI on the internal drive), and once the menu bar was gone and I could not bring any windows to the front.
I'm spooked by the kernel panics because I don't want a system that isn't stable, but it sounds weird since I am on a MBP 11,1 that everyone says should be straightforward for OCLP+Monterey.
I will restore from my backup of Big Sur, and perhaps try installing Monterey over top. But, has anyone got any insight into this?

My MBP 11,1 supports Big Sur anyway. Are you suggesting I nuke my internal drive, install Big Sur using OCLP, restore files and then install Monterey over that?Yes you have to install Big sur from OC USB, restore backup and then run Monterey installer/OTA update from running BS.(did that twice and worked fine)
P.S. Time Machine doesn’t work properly in Monterey, so be careful.
What solution do you refer to? Skimming through his post history nothing jumps out to me as obviously what you mean. Why don't you install Big Sur + restore your data + try @chris1111 solution? I think you have the same machine used in that thread.
