So you're a lucky man! 'Cause I can see here a plenty of guys who fell down into a boot loop after dealing with that.
Same to me, but I could repair the volume with a full USB installer 13.2.beta1 over the broken volume without loosing any data. You will find 13.2 beta1 with OCLP create macOS installer or MrMcIntosh.

Which of your computers did you get that on?

I have recently installed OS 13.1 with OCLP 0.5.2 on my MacPro4,1/5,1. The first boot with the mac installer fails with error message but running it again then completes. My GPU is a GTX 760 which reports as Metal 2. I have installed a USB 2 hub between onboard bluetooth USB and wifi/bt adapter card. The USB 2 hub gets power from the onboard USB connector and uses all 4 pins. The power does not turn off while sleeping so it will wake normally from bluetooth. The hub is a 1 to 4 and outputs with 2 dual-usb 9 pin connectors. It mounts with sticky foam on a flat surface. It seems to work well and provides additional internal USB 2 outputs.

I could install Ventura 13.2 b1 and the post install patches, but it's impossible to install the small macOS security response. It's always the same error message : "Failed to prepare the software update. Please try again. An error occurred while downloading the selected updates. Please check your internet connection and try again". I'm able to reboot, everything is working, except this security update.
Same here MacBook Air 2012 , always the same error , cant download the security response. Using 0.5.3

with latest OCLP 0.54 of this evening (19 dec) and patchersupport 0.72 incorporated now wifi card work (my case iMac 2011) previously not working (BCM94328, BCM94322 and Atheros chipset), but some top bar icons are no longer displayed (time, date, wifi, bluetooth, audio, control center, stage manager.......); in the control center they are set to visible. graphic bug

I had the same issue with a iMac12,2. Unfortunately I could not get passed the disk error during re-installing with a full USB installer 13.2.beta1 over the broken volume and had to erase the entire disk to reinstall (luckily on a test SSD, separated from the other OSs).

To all cMP4,1 and 5,1 owners who miss BT on Ventura 13.x (even when using upgraded BRCM combo module like the BCM94360CD):

The question came up a few posts earlier here if re-connecting the USB data lines from Broadcom combo wifi/BT module might re-enable it for correct driver usage in Ventura.
I tried it today and yes, successfully have all the functionality back like Airdrop and connection of wireless keyboard / trackpad etc. - see screenshot.

What I did as a preliminary solution: I cut a standard USB cable (A to B style) and connected the green wire of the A-side to the BRCM module´s USB+ and the white wire to USB- that before (as a working solution up to Monterey) went to the old 4pin BT connector on the MP4,1/5,1 mainboard. I then plugged in the type A connector of the cable into a 2.0 hub to one of the external USB jacks.

Next step is to try to strap the USB hub to the internal conn. on the mainboard to see if that would also work (making a more permanent routing of cables internal-only then possible).

Update: It is also working with the internal USB+ and USB- data signals from the 4pin socket on the mainboard!
Seems to be an appropriate Xmas project to do some miniature piggy-back PCB with a USB hub chip and additional 3.3V to 5V converter for external port usage. The idea is to provide 2 extra USB 2.0 ports for wired keyboards and mice for i.e. boot selection and other purposes... Stay tuned for results!
Nice!

I want to thank

Mykola and the team for implementing legacy wifi for the Mac Pro 5,1

Cheers!

Note: I noticed that the right side of the menu bar only shows the search icon and nothing else unless I open an app like CCC which then shows the CCC icon... This happaned after the patch..
I used oclp v0.5.4 beta

Your approach of installing the Security Update before the post install root patches was interesting. I reverted the root patches and shut down the iMac. Unfortunately, the Security Update still generated an error. The root patches are now being reinstalled. As suggested by Tockman in post 2681, it appears that the problem may be machine-dependent.

it seems to be indeed machine-dependant : if your Mac is Pre-Haswell, Rapid Security Response cannot be installed.

cfr Dortania/OpenCore issue 1019 :
  • Pre-Haswell Macs cannot install RSRs
    • This is due to the Rosetta Cryptex being used, while Apple is distributing x86_64h RSRs

Your are correct. The 13,1 iMac dates from late 2012.

Haswell (HSW) is Intel's microarchitecture based on the 22 nm process for mobile, desktops, and servers. Haswell, which was introduced in 2013, became the successor to Ivy Bridge.

Happy OCLP camper here. Just a question on snapshots.
I have had recurring issues with SSD corruption that started when using OCLP to upgrade from Catalina
(which is the last OS my MBP supports natively).

After the SSD is filled up with snapshots I get corruption on disks that Disk Utility can not repair.
I can delete all snapshots and then restart the MBP and then all Disk Utility tests will pass as ok.
Not sure what to make of this. Anyone seeing something like this?
It could be a firmware issue with my 3-d party SSD, but I just wanted to ask here if anyone is seeing this.
Many thanks.

Had a similar problem with my iMac late 2012, on which Catalina is the last officially support release. Disk utility could not solve the problem.
Solution was to delete and format the HDD and perform a clean installation of the required macOS versions. (Catalina, Monterey and Ventura).
I was concerned that restoring apps or data from TM would also restore the corruption. Essential apps were downloaded and data files were restored from various sources.

Had a similar problem with my iMac late 2012,
Thanks for reply. I have been logging this and trying various variations of fixes for a while as it has kept coming back here. Latest experimental workaround is only daily TM backups and to delete the snapshots every few days so the drive does not fill up. Yes, I know, fingers crossed and all that ;)
