Just to report on 11,4 with 0.6.6 OCLP and 13.4 and no problems other than mouse or keyboard freeze (for 3 seconds) every once in a while. All apps work great, screen saver actually works, photos doesn't freeze up anymore. Other than what I mentioned, all is good for now.

I believe I updated about 10 days ago and no restarts since.

Sorry to bother folks if this has been covered multiple times - but is it true I no longer need to connect my mouse and keyboard to a USB hub to upgrade my 2010 5,1 to Ventura with OCLP 0.6.6 ? I'm currently on Monterey 12.6.5 with OCLP 0.6.4.

Thanks

And I do still need to use a USB Hub does it matter what kind and what port it's plugged into?

On my MBP6,2 running Ventura 13.2.1, I was prompted to update Xcode. The Xcode update was flawless. If 13.2.1 keeps performing this well, I may just stick with it until a required Xcode upgrade forces me to upgrade to macOS 14 (If Intel is still supported in macOS 14 and if OCLP is still able to patch my unsupported Mac).

Does OCLP 0.6.7 incorporate AMFIpatch?
I just used the OCLP 0.6.7 (Release) to build an OC EFI for my MBP6,2 and it did NOT include AMFIPass.kext.

EDIT: Note that I unchecked "Disable Library Validation" and "Disable AMFI" in the OCLP GUI before building my OC EFI (what the GUI calls "Build and Install OpenCore").

Is there any way that my Mac Pro 5,1 with a 6600xt could ever run Ventura? I was trying to stay hopeful, but I was just looking for someone’s opinion on whether or not I should just get rid of it. Just wondering if anyone knew anything about the graphics card gaining support in Ventura on non avx systems.

USB hub is still needed for Macs with USB 1.1. Any USB 2.0 hubs should work.

We couldn't get display output with Navi GPUs on non-AVX Macs. No idea if we'll ever be able to get it working.

I have noticed that, after some hours of continuous use, randomly Bluetooth can stop working, on my MBP11,3; sometimes it’s sufficient to turn Bluetooth and/or the Magic Mouse off and on again, but other times - as happened today - a full restart is required, in order to make Bluetooth work again: don’t know if this is a macOS Ventura or OCLP bug…

Edit: Today, when Bluetooth stopped working, two users were logged in (with fast user switching), the one in the foreground installing the Xcode 14.3.1 update and the one in the background using Carbon Copy Cloner: and indeed also USB 3.0 stopped working at the same time, suddenly expelling the two disks involved in the CCC clone; while the trackpad fortunately continued working normally, making it possible to reboot.

Hi, I have 2 MacBook Pros 4,1 15 and 17 and I have tried in both OCLP with Ventura, Montery and Big Sur but I could not manage to have the trackpad recognised.
Trackpad does work though, but only with left click and there is no way to configure either the tracking speed, tap or actually anything because system preferences does not recognise it.
Is there anything I can do to solve this? or I have to revert to external mouse?

rMBP10,1 mid-2012 with Ventura 13.4 - installed OCLP 0.6.7 and root patched, no issues found as yet.

Also, SilentKnight found updates to Xcode Command Line Tools and Safari Tech Preview, used the SilentKnight installer option to get- and install them.
same hardware and OS. I have a problem with TV app that I haven't on macOS 12, I can't play any content because the window closes. Are you be able to use Apple TV App with that config?
