good morning... for a few days suddenly a problem with built-in bluetooth (BCM_4350C2) works partially... iMac 12.1 21" 2011, ventura 13.4 and OCLP 0.6.7 or 0.6.8n, when you start the mac bluetooth is disabled, it is possible to reactivate it but it does not detect anything and the icon says it is deactivated... I use the Magic Mouse which however works partially, everything except scrolling, but it does not appear in the list of devices... if I go to bluetooth settings the lever for activating the bluetooth does not work, sometimes it is possible to drag it and activate it but it does not detect any other device even though the Magic Mouse works partially; I had paired bluettoh headphones but now they are no longer detected ... in the system report the bluettoh appears NOT ACTIVE

PLEASE HELP!

I only have one iMac 2011 and few hours ago I was trying to use this opencore legacy patch to upgrade to Ventura, I have read many posts before I actually do it, and I tried to follow it steps by steps, I accidentally click the “Install MacOS Ventura” before click into the “EFI boot”, then my screen went white with some green line pattern and STOP!

I have no choice but reboot my iMac, then it’s all black screen no matter how many times I boot it, zap NVRAM, SCM, and safe or recovery boot, it’s all black screen!!! I can see the screen with back lit light but nothing show up at all! I am so screwed now! Can anyone help and give me some hints or help??? PLEASE!!!

I'm not sure if this helps you (can only be determined with testing)...

The OpenCore EFI generated for your iMac12.1 includes two bluetooth kexts:

Problems with BlueToolFixup.kext that affected Ventura 13.4 (possibly 13.3x) have been fixed with new commits. These changes have fixed problems with Bluetooth on my MBP6,2. The fixes aren't available in current release versions of OCLP; however, if you are technically proficient with Open Core, you can apply these fixes to test without waiting for a new OCLP release.

Once i had similar issue. I am in the middle of fully upgrade 21.5 Mid-2011. Despite the fact that i have perfect internet connection via AirPort Extreme 6th gen i wasn't able to complete the creation of bootable usb. I switched to ethernet - all was done flawlessly.
make sure the APE firmware is current

Imac27 late 2012/13,2, Ivy Bridge. I had been on the AMFI beta, I downloaded the 6.8n, installed, and noticed in the security settings the disable AMFI box was checked, I did not change this. I installed the new 16.5, beta 3, that went very well, and after rebooting was asked to patch again, after rebooting I opened OCLP again and the box saying disable AMFI under security was still checked, I did not change anything.

macOS Ventura works fine on a Mid 2014 MacBook Pro 13 inch with one exception, the Weather App. Every time you use the weather app, it freezes, and there are spinning beachballs. I believe this is a Kernal issue with the weather app. I have tried deleting the Finder folder for Weather and then rebooted the mac but still no difference.

I’d been running 13.4 on a 2012 Mac mini without any problems, using OCLP 0.6.6. I upgraded it to 0.6.7 and had several freezes and panics over the course of the day. Reverting to OCLP 0.6.6 restored stability on my computer.
Late 2013 iMac 27" 14,2 Kepler running 13.4 no apparent issues in 0.6.6/13.4.

Upgraded to 0.6.7 and computer freezes on wake within a day of boot - screen indicates it's going to wake (backlit black screen with a cursor that can be moved for a second or two), then cursor freezes, but SSH session from another computer continues to be interactive for a short time before total freeze.

I left the post-install patches from 0.6.7 (primarily for Kepler support) in place and it's working fine.

Still very happy to have 13.4 on this machine at all :)

Can you elaborate on that a little? It is not clear from your post, but we can assume you reverted back to OCLP 0.6.6 and left the post install root patches from 0.6.7. Right?
What are your sleep settings, Code: pmset -g
You might try hibernation mode 0, as shown below.
I have an iMac 15,1 that runs fine with these implemented, running 0.6.8n Ventura 13.5b3:
Code to run in terminal:
sudo pmset -a hibernatemode 0 standby 0 autopoweroff 0

sudo rm /private/var/vm/sleepimage
--Ignore any message saying there is no such file

Create a blanked zero-byte file so the OS cannot rewrite the file:

sudo touch /private/var/vm/sleepimage

Make file immutable:
(sudo chflags nouchg ... to revert)

sudo chflags uchg /private/var/vm/sleepimage

ok I injected, with opencore configurator, the new kext "BlueToolFixup.kext" version 2.67 dated June 12th 2023, 2.66 was present, but it didn't work, it seems to me, the problem with the partial functioning of the bluettoth remained.

I don't know if what I did was right... in the new packages there are also other kexts concerning bluetooth "BrcmBluetoothInjector.kext" and "BrcmBluetoothInjectorLegacy.kext" also version 2.6.7 but I didn't inject these

Which OS version were you upgrading to Ventura from? Have you created a USB installer for Ventura? Do you have a back up of your data?
My iMac os is 12,2, still in high sierra! Yes I made that usb installer according to the instructions, and luckily I do backup everything! But still, I want to fix it and hope there’s a chance to save it

Did you update to the very last release of HS before trying to upgrade as there may be a firmware update needed if you didn’t.
