It did not cause any issue for me but if that is how it worked for you, I'm also okay with that...Just to use only the installer and therefore rule out any possible anomalies on the USB installer / during install, calling data from the USB. As I encountered serious issues that were not easily explained, troubleshooted and/or fixed, I choose to not the copy the OCLP application to the USB.
For me, it was the only way to go and execute the 7th clean installation sequence from scratch beginning to download and install the OCLP application and without the use of Migration Assistant.
I'll be dual booting OCLP Ventura with and older macOS version... Might upgrade to Sonoma next week once OCLP 1.0 is released...
