No, just reapplied OCLP to the EFI Partition, the Ventura installation is still the “old” one. Yes, Post install patches could be the reason. Is there any chance to reapply them from the Monterey SSD “remotely”?

THANKS

@khronokernel, first of all respect!!! I'm a silent watcher because my 2 MacBook Pro's are new and my iMac G3 is old. But I'm following this great project day by day. I'm using OCLP in 7 hackintosh's. I can confirm that the latest build doesn't load login screen in one of my rigs with HD 7750 (first time OCLP fails after AMD GCN solution was implemented). Sorry guys for using hackintosh word here.

After reading above, I downloaded GitHub version and the same happened. No login screen. No signal on HDMI.
For sure, after reinstalling Ventura.

I have strange issue. I have installed Ventura on an external SSD. Everything works fine and the installation went with no problems.
Now trying to install in on a partition on the internal SSD ( MacBook Air 2012) and I always get the error an error occurred preparing the software update. I am using the same installer as I used to install on the internal SSD.
Same OCLP version, same OS version, same everything but with different results.

I’m pretty sure the issue has been fixed. There was some not signed binary. Do as @khronokernel said in the post number 1148. Do not compile by yourself, get the compiled app.
I am pretty sure this issue has never existed. Did four installations yesterday and overnight using the previous OCLP version on iMac11,3+GCN3 and iMac12,2+GCN1/GCN4. Everything works perfectly.

(Compiled the app myself as always during the last months)

Hi! I'm kind of a noob regarding this stuff, but I just wanted to let you all know that I managed to install MacOS Ventura Beta (Build 22A5373b - B11 P9 downloaded from https://mrmacintosh.com/macos-ventura-13-full-installer-database-download-directly-from-apple/ on my MacBookAir6,1 with working acceleration graphics (HD 5000 1536 MB)

Screenshot 2022-10-18 at 17.10.29.png

Used OCLP 0.5.0 (latest build as of today). Managed to build the GUI version by following @BGS instructions on post #896

To conclude the saga -- I blitzed all Python & XCode from the machine then reinstalled Python 3.10.6 via Homebrew, including Command-Line Tools 14.0, downloaded latest OCLP 0.5.0 sourcecode, ran pip3.10 install -r requirements.txt to install a heap of dependencies, then the build worked very smoothly and resulting GUI.app suffers no more nasty glitches ... YESS!!

Built an EFI spoofed as MBP14,1, copied to USB key & booted with it into external Ventura_B8_SSD, then root-patched that with Haswell5000 Graphics, which after a reboot gives full acceleration and is looking very presentable indeed.

The GeekBench 5.4.5 GPU Metal test still crashes the machine on the Canny task (as in Monterey), but otherwise the results are excellent, all keyboard controls, trackpad gestures and fan speed regulation work perfectly and the machine seems very stable on Ventura.

Am delighted with the results and foresee making Ventura my daily driver on this machine once 13.0 final is released.

Thanks again to all who assisted above & OCLP-Team for getting it this far! :D

Before installing OC, I made sure I disabled AMFI temporarily (Developer Settings tab) so I could apply Intel Haswell post-install root patch after reboot.

Then I re-enabled AMFI (just in case) and re-installed OC to boot drive.

Apart from disabling all SIP protection, no other settings were tweaked on OCLP.

So far so good. Couldn't have done it without all the amazing info on this forum. A BIG "thanks" to all of you!

OCLP doesn't need AMFI disabled for Haswell? Just library validation on Macs using OCLP
