MacBook Pro 15” mid 2014 running macOS Ventura like a charm with the latest root patches of oclp 0.5.0 released today. Everything seems to work like a charm with the exception of continuity camera.

The iPhone 12 Pro Max connects flawlessly but when I select the iPhone the FaceTime screen freezes and when I select Desktop view it states after a while no video received.

I checked all the settings, connected via wi-if and usb port, restarted all devices but no luck.

Same thing happens in Zoom.

Can somebody check to see if this works on your MacBook Pro or any other unsopported Mac?

Thanks in advance.
I had the same result with my unsupported Mac mini and iPhone 11 running 13.0 and 16.1, respectively

@Earl Urley
You have the app in the OCLP GitHub site >> Actions >> look for the latest Build wxPython.
MacPro6,1 has serious issues with Ventura. Read about it in the OCLP GitHub site >> Issues.

When it comes to Ventura, has anyone installed it on a MacBookPro with a third-party SSD installed?

I have a 2015 15" MacBook Pro (MacBookPro11,5) with a 2TB Sabrent Rocket installed. I'm curious how performance has been like for others who are in a similar situation.

I signed up for GitHub and got the files, thanks!

Now my MacPro 5,1 on 0.4.11 is actually showing the Ventura installer in Software Update.. should I risk it or go to 0.5.0 ?

I have 13" retina late 2013 with evo 970 plus 500gb installed and the performance is slower than monterrey 12.6 for me so I am sticking to monterey for now.

Today: Updated an extra test iMac (late 2013, 21.5") already running Monterey 12.6 via OCLP to 12.6.1 OTA with OCLP 0.4.10 still installed.

Then ran the Ventura OTA update successfully (wanted to see what would happen). Needs post-intall patch for graphics acceleration (Kepler GPU), so I first updated to OCLP 0.4.11 to check but obviously we need 0.5.0

Signed up at Github as described above, the closest thing I could find to 0.5.0 was the build on the "3309868486" page linked above. App [OpenCore-Patcher.app (GUI)] does not open (not supported). It downloads as "408925566" with no file extension.

Am I in the wrong place? Or just not geeky enough?

hi... any notice on iMac 21.5 2011 with AMD Radeon HD 6770M 512 M, and with OCPL 0.5.0? I have Monterey 12.6 ad OCPL 0.5.0 that detects Ventura 13.0...

and MacBook Pro 13 mid 2012?

Maybe there’s another update.

Sleep not working on MBA 7,2 (2017) with final release Ventura and latest OCLP 0.5.0 nightly. When close lid, screen is still lit.
If select Sleep from menu, Finder desktop disappears but resulting light gray screen still has lit backlight and cursor displayed.

Go to “Build and run from source” and download OpenCore Legacy Patcher Night Build version. https://github.com/dortania/OpenCore-Legacy-Patcher/blob/main/SOURCE.md
Alternative: go to the “Actions” page and search OCLP app in the last post.

Note: download requires GitHub login!!!

Thanks, in the meantime I found a link from Reddit that worked straightaway. System is patched and graphics speed is normal.

I did just get the one from your link for any future use, until the release appears.

I have just downloaded the Ventura, but got an error when creating the USB installation disk. why? Do I need to download it again?

Couldn't mount dmg /Applications/Install macOS Ventura.app/Contents/SharedSupport/SharedSupport.dmg (error code 110)/Applications/Install macOS Ventura.app does not appear to be a valid OS installer application.

Can anyone with a Late 2012 27" iMac ( iMac 13,2 ) confirm that they have Ventura running via the RC build or later and the 0.5.0 OCLP? I have a patched Ventura 13.0 USB stick good to go, but I'm reluctant to pull the pin for some reason. 😁
