Cisco Secure Client is also half-broken for me on Beta 2 but was fine on the first beta. Specifically, it times out connecting to general Internet locations that are outside the scope of the split tunnel. Work-specific connections are fine with the VPN connected and general Internet access is okay when disconnected. I can have either work-specific access or general access, but not both at once. I'll file some feedback.
This is the EXACT behavior that I have experienced and I too have filed feedback.

Unfortunately, the new translucent effect of the Now Playing bar in Music is not translucent anymore, and has lost its glass appearance. Now it's just opaque - nothing different from older OSes. What a shame. There's no liquid Glass in macOS Tahoe, just the dock and control center. They should improve this aspect!
If you're going all-in on liquid glass, bring it to the Mac
Is that what it looks like now? Because that's not opaque but if I'm remembering correctly it was completely transparent before, which made it impossible to read sometimes

sure. and it's beta 2. so (for now, at least), how you deal with this is up to you...
You're acting like he's insane and doing something wrong for reporting a significant usability issue in a beta. I for one hope every significant usability issue like this is reported and Apple takes it seriously and fixes all of them

of course! but it IS a beta, so an easy workaround for now is to not use the same color for highlights as the background. nothing about anyone being insane 🤷

^^^^No, but you can easily choose one that is. However, unlike Sequoia, the time and date do not move from their position at the top of the screen. If you choose the message option, the message is animated, but the time and date are not.

Anyone else having an issue in the App Store (was not present in beta 1) where most of your purchased apps are gone. The ones you have installed, show as open (even though they are missing form your purchased apps list) but the one's not installed either want you to repurchase or Get again. Again this was NOT present in Beta 1 but now new in Beta 2.
Having the exact same issue. Filed a report.

It would be great if you could "tint" the "glass". By making it a bit (customisable?) milky (white/grey/whatever colour you choose) you could get back contrast.

Almost impossible to tell if off or on... contrast, or lack of, is so bad.

That's the punishment for not using pink as the accent color. 💖

Tahoe Beta 1 the menu to exclude drives from indexing crashed after the try to disable indexing on Macintosh HD. Have someone tested it under beta 2?

I just noticed my TimeMachine drives have been removed and when I tried to add one of them I got this empty window and have to force quit System Settings.

Mail crashes on launch every time. Completely unusable on my Mac now.

This is what we signed up for, but it is annoying.

No problems with Mail here too and I have seven iCloud accounts in there, two Gmail, my very first AOL account from 1997 and several from other small providers also a Proton Mail Bridge, but not for my main account there.

Im pretty sure this is new (otherwise i've used Mac OS for ages and never ever noticed it...) you can now drag and change the size of the dock by placing the cursor in the division area. EDIT.... this is more of a "I was today's years old when i found this out" Sorry

I never noticed this too. But my Dock is always filling the whole screen. It seems I have 41 browsers in there. Please don't ask why. 🙈

Does any one else have the problem that some DMGs with an app or installer in it always come back after sleep?

It's only those two, I ejected them already several time. Trying a reboot now.

Screenshot 2025-06-25 at 14.37.08.png

They even came back after rebooting. And when I ejected the IconComposer I got this:

Screenshot 2025-06-25 at 14.40.18.png

One of them doesn't even exist anymore. I deleted it after installing and it's not in the trash anymore. I deleted the other one too now. Very strange.

That one from Paragon just appeared again. It was the one that I already deleted days ago. Spooky. 👻

That's just nuts. It's like they didn't test *anything*

This feels like an Alpha version.

Even the first Developer Beta of macOS 15 was less buggy than the recent version. I can't remember a single crash or anything not working anymore, maybe one or two non-Apple apps crashed a few times but got an update a few days later.

It started with the implementation of Apple Intelligence that every new version got worse than the one before. 15.5 had been the worst of all for me.

But this here is really bad. Most of my apps still work, it's mostly Apple stuff not really working or crashing or looking strange.

I am using Firefox Nightly as my main browser since about two years and it's working always much better than any version of Safari since then.

I just tested tinting for apps and widgets. It doesn't work for apps that have options for several different icons, it only works for the standard icon. This doesn't happen in iOS 26, maybe because everything is from the App Store there. Also the color isn't very consistent. Most icons are dark blue now (what I chose) and some are grey, some have a white background and some just look strange.
Seems also not to work for web apps like that "Telegram A" blue standard logo. It only got a dark blue background and the circled logo is bigger than the background. It looks much worse in reality as in this small preview but you can zoom in.

It also doesn't match with icons on the Desktop or folders in the Dock because only app icons are tinted. The widgets in the Notification Center are tinted too and the icons in the notifications. But not the class widgets in the Menu Bar.

Also here not consistent:

Photos App Beta 2: Rotate a photo and it goes blank and disappears from the camera roll across devices.

I can confirm that it is getting very black but you still can see it an it doesn't disappear. But it only happens with the 16 Pro Max photos I took, when I used one for a few days. Not for my SE3 photos, both HEIC format. Screenshots and wallpapers are also not effected.

Those photos were almost the same. The right one was turned four times (so back to normal), the left one once:

The originals were similar to this cropped one:

I agree, I think Apple forgot to do stuff before releasing this as beta 2. Feels very rushed, just hope it won't be the public beta like Beta 2's normally are. Because I feel bad for those people if so...

There are tons of bugs, you should check the App Store and see if you're affected by the purchased apps missing bug. And sandbox account bug. If you go to the App Store and click on your person/name on the lower sidebar, alot of your purchased apps may be missing. If you search for them, the ones installed on your Mac will show OPEN as norma, but the ones NOT on the Mac will either ask you to buy again or GET again. Also if you go to the menu bar and hit App Store and go to settings, towards the bottom it may show sandbox account with your Apple ID next to it. It feels like Apple forgot to turn something off before releasing the build.

Mac Mail is really messed up, I use iCloud email and iOS/iPadOS will get the emails 20-30 minutes before they come in on the Mac. Safari seems to have reset and other than bookmarks, my suggestion, iCloud tabs and reading list have all reset (NOT on iOS/iPadOS however).

I agree about the Alpha build 100% and think it was very rushed, should not have been released as is. Someone forgot to turn off stuff to send it out as a beta for everyone.
