After installing today's Beta 6, it seems that attempting to resize any window of a video playing, be it through IINA or Infuse, results in everything freezing until the app is Force Quit from the dock.

Anyone else experiencing anything similar?
Same here. Even just watching a local video file for more than 10 minutes it causes the video player to freeze.

Yeah switch from IINA to VLC but still the same playback issues with the latest beta. It happens. Anyone know of a functioning playback app in the meantime ?

What's your system? Tried to duplicate and not having this issue. I'm on M1 16" MBP.

What's the file type of the video?
Happens with movies in codecs H264 and H265 inside MKV containers, and with videos downloaded from YouTube and Twitter converted to mp4 using ffmpeg.

EDIT: VLC 4.0 seems to work fine

Weird, tried duplicating in VLC, Infuse, and IINA and all work fine over here.

VLC: 3.0.17.3

IINA: 1.3.0

Infuse: 7.4.4

VLC 4 (Official beta + Nightly) crashes on launch on my Intel iMac. Thanks to @umwaftad for suggesting Movist which works around this. I get the Pro version with Setapp so that works for me.

Awesome, thank you. I thought I was going nuts when I reported this, appreciate you all testing things out.
It still freezes for me, although much more rarely maybe? I managed to watch a whole 40 min episode of a show without a freeze.

Anyone else seeing USB-C devices not coming back online when you wake up a system (Apple Studio in this case) after sleep?

My USB-C keyboard and headset both need to be unplugged and plugged back to work after system sleep.

I filed a feedback report on it.
This bug has been fixed in the latest beta.

While the delayed Messages notifications bug seems to be fixed in the latest beta, I noticed that the AppStore keeps asking me if I want to enable notifications and I can only answer "Not now" if I don't want them.
Notifications in the Settings app doesn't list AppStore as it did in Monterey so I can't permanently disable notifications from the AppStore.
Is anyone else seeing this?

Is it me, or did Apple just strip all of the options of the battery settings from the System Settings?
Are you looking for these settings?

IINA does not work, I'm sad I can't enjoy like 80% of what I do everyday on my Mac lol
