So they are not apparently sending out the letter in order of people ordering their iPads. As they missed me. . .I ordered on Mar 12 9:15 PM PDT 64 Gb 3G. still no email.
Could be the handling by the apple e-mail servers, handling by each person's e-mail service, some combination of the two or it could just be
trying to see just how riled up they can get us. I just got The Email and said by the end of the month! Why are some getting May 7th?

Still waiting for the charge to hit.... although my DD's wifi one was in the states before they charged me for it!
Steve is a genius; I've never wanted to see a nearly thousand dollar charge hit my account as badly as I want this to. It's bordering on pathetic at this point, and the saddest part of all is that I recognize it and yet continue in my behavior.

May 7th is ONLY for NEW preorders starting TODAY.
Remember March 27th for Wifi iPad when Apple decided to cut off the April 3 delivery and everyone who orders after march 27th will get theirs in April 12 instead of April 3

The ones for May 7th are for new orders placed as of Yesterday I believe.
Pre-orders prior to that should be on time which is before end of April.
That is because I forgot to pay last month's, so that is 2 months of cable.
I had the chicken fettuccini and the fiancee had chicken & shrimp pasta.

Someone earlier in the thread stated he/she placed an order yesterday and got an email today. Looks like the cut off is today.
I have my charge on there, just not posted to the transaction detail. With a current balance of $32.44 but an available balance of about $1,100, hmmm, what Apple product could have caused that!
I have everything set up on my desk. The mail guy at work holds up the package before he gives it to me and says, "It's from Apple...is this it?" (he knows that it won't come to the office until later this week or early next week). My response with a smile, "Ed, another thing for the 'set-up'!" I have everything set up on my desk except the iPad itself. We both agree though that Apple could have just shipped everything together in one big box!

Apple put a pending charge on my account the day I pre-ordered my iPad 3G, April 16th.
I am so happy that I got my pre-order in on time, it would have sucked to miss this shipping batch. I received my email this morning.
The bottom charge is for 2 iPad WiFi 64GB versions and a few accessories.
The 880 charge is for the iPad 3G 64GB + sales tax
