Yeah, all the LG Urbane additions in 5.1.1 are coming within the next 10 days or so. Being able to flick the wrist to scroll through notifications will be of particular interest to me.

And curious how far away from your phone you canget with your watch? I'm using my old Nexus 4 and I can still get notifications roughly 100ft away and though my entire house. That is several walls and brick masonry. I found that impressive.

Temporarily staying in an apartment until we buy a house here (just relocated) and I can go anywhere within the 1300sq ft apartment and be fine. I was glad to see that.

I will say Facer is a must app paired with the FaceRepo site as it's super easy to scroll through hundreds of faces and upload to Facer.

So far the voice recognition has been spot on as I have done numerous texts, tried some navigation and also set alarms. Very impressed. Wish the screen was a tad brighter but other than that so far so good.

Funny you should mention the latter.

I now find myself often setting an alarm while I'm in another room away from my phone.

Wife: "Don't forget that our favorite show starts at 9:30pm."
Me, looking at watch: "OK, Google, set an alarm for 9:30 tonight."

Having a watch that's always on your wrist listening, makes it easy.

One day of full use and I am already wondering why I waited so long to get one. Functions I performed that were effortless and so efficient:

Driving and replying to a text:will hopefully deter my terrible texting and driving habit

Navigated to a dunkin donuts effortlessly for breakfast while driving

I wear suits everyday and my phone is always in my jacket pocket. Was so cool to dismiss and see alerts and triage accordingly

Wore an awesome tie today. Made it my background of my phone and coordinated nicely and blew the minds of all my coworkers :)

Currently been off the charger since 8am and at 69% after all day notifications and details above. Solid so far and hope to get better after a couple cycles.

Really glad the moto 360 and nexus 6 are working out for you.

I'm actually really looking forward to the second generation 360 now.

I'm actually really looking forward to the second generation 360 now.

The first generation of android watches are now a year old, so I think now is a good time to fence sit and see what Gen2 has to offer.

Though, based upon the Urbane, it looks like more of the same, where I was hoping for bigger improvements in battery life especially.

Looking forward to what Moto and Samsung have brewing in 2015. Especially Samsung and their Gear A in September.

Yeah gen 2 of android smartwatches seem more of the same. With the Apple Watch out now with very similar specs and function to other android watches, I don't see manufactures making any bold moves.

So I went ahead and picked up a Moto 360. Best Buy has them for $180 which seems quite reasonable. I need to stay off this board. I've bought so much tech based on the thoughts and good reviews on here.

The value proposition is high at $180 for sure. It's a good time to get your wearable feet wet at least.

I saw Best Buy price reduction this morning. It's tempting. I do have a Gear Fit which I adore though.

Isnt that the truth. I was a major hater on the wearable tech game at the beginning and all through the launch of the 360 as I never even checked this thread.

Here we are months after launch and I am slapping myself for not getting one sooner. This thing is a great companion device that makes notifications and everyday functions so much better. Is it a must have, not in the least but it reminds me of the first time I had a smartphone and didnt have to get to a PC to do something.

It has that same feeling of I dont have to get my phone out of my pocket or risk safety by texting and driving like a fool which I have done before.

I am loving the cognac/brown color but may look into a steel one for "fancier" days for big meetings at work or social events.

If it is going to happen, we should find out at Google I/O (which is the last week of this month). Ultimately, it is up to Apple of course, but if there is going to be any announcement from Google on this topic, it should happen at I/O.

Decided to go with a nice and simple setup for today

Sips battery life. Click the image to see the gif going from bright to dim mode.

To bad the Apple Watch can't do these simple modifications.

Almost a week and a half with the device and really enjoying it. Wanted to give it a full 2,3 weeks to get it to where I liked it apps wise, battery consumption, and every day use before giving a full review.

I've had it for 4 days and love it. Really enjoy changing my watch faces daily to suit my whim. Battery life could be better, but considering I can use any Qi charger to charge it in a pinch, I haven't had "low battery charge anxiety" yet.

I am liking mine but I doubt I would go for the next iteration as this will do for my needs really. The size and weight are good and I get my choice of lots of different faces. Color me happy.

Agreed. The only thing that may make me consider the next version would be a brighter screen, a speaker to take calls, and a removal of the flat tire.

The black piece on the bottom doesnt bother me at all but if I get 1 and 2 on my list, might as well add 3.

Wonder if the next gen Moto 360 will have some sort of physical input like the Digital Crown or Samsung's rotating bezel thing.

I hope not. Keep it real, Motorola!

I hope not either and I feel Android Wear makes it functional where you dont need it. I rarely press the button on the 360 as it is now.

I love the button on the Moto 360. Sometimes a button press on the screen doesn't register and the button is nice to have. I wouldn't mind more functions on it as sometimes screen swipes are goofy, an option to scroll through notifications and through messages themselves with rotation would be nice. Plus I think the button keeps it looking like a traditional watch.

Can the 360 work when your phone is being paired with a Bluetooth device such as a car stereo?

My nexus 6 seems to make the car precedent and thus my 360 loses all connection and doesn't function as a Bluetooth device. Maybe I am doing some4ging wrong on my end.

I just tested this out in my car (Chevy Volt). My Moto X autoconnects to my cars stereo via BT and begins playing music from Google Play. When a notification comes in a hear the chime through my speakers and simultaneously feel the vibration on my wrist and see the notification on my watch. I am also able to pause, skip forward and back, stop my music via the 360.

Everything works perfectly between my car, watch and phone. But I can have 5 devices connected simultaneously with my car. Are you limited to just 1 maybe?

That may be it but I wouldn't think I would have such limitations in my truck as its newer. It basically is overtaking priority and not working when I use Bluetooth. Big pain but it may not be the 360 that's causing the conflict.
