I just had my 5X delivered yesterday, I did the setup and updates on WiFi before installing sim card. After the March update my battery was losing 10% in 15 minutes. Did the wipe cache Android shuffle and overnight battery only dropped 20%. Impressed with the phone, fingerprint sensor is faster than my 6S. Using my rMB charger is a nice bonus :)
Battery dropped 20% overnight in standby you mean? That's too much.

Yeah, something is preventing doze to kick in. I drop 1-2% overnight. But considering you just setup your phone, definitely want to give this a couple days before it settles.

I find since getting the March update, my 6p is running more buttery smooth, even in the short time I've had it I notice a difference, everything overall has improved noticeably. No complaints, and I'm completely used to the size already, don't even notice it, in fact my iPhone 6 feels downright tiny now.

100% satisfied in my switch to Android

I recently purchased the Nexus 6p over the weekend. I took it out of the box, and it was a really nice looking phone. Got it all set up, and enjoyed configuring it for a few hours. After a while, I found that I was not "in love" with the phone, and decided to box it up to return it. Well, I gave it one more shot, reconfigured it, took it to work, and used it as my normal phone for the week. Well.... I was sitting at work, starting at the phone, when I realized that I was still not "in love" with the phone. I think the phone is absolutely stunning, minus a case, and the OS is very smooth, with the March update. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with the 6p. I like the phone, but never fell in love.....

Back to the iPhone6 (for now)

Yep! Gave it a fair shot. I have nothing bad to say about the 6p, it just wasn't for me.

We've all done it. I've tried so many different phones and some I stick with a lot longer than others. Some only last a few days and I know its not for me, some are growers and you learn to like & appreciate them - but maybe never love.

Just enjoy what you enjoy and be damned anyone else telling you you're wrong :)

I thought you already had the 6P, Roadstar?

I had one indeed and loved it when I got it, but I got frustrated with 6.0.1 crippling my battery life and Bluetooth (random one second pauses every now and then), so when an opportunity to swap it for an almost new mint condition 64GB iPhone 6 Plus came up, I took it and for a couple of months my old Nexus 5 has been my only decent Android device (there are some cheap tablets etc, but I count only those where I'm not afraid to use my proper Google account). Now I'm curious to see how much the March update improved things.

I see. I have a friend with a 5X who just got the March update a few days ago. He says the phone is definitely more responsive. He didn't mention how the update may have affected his battery life, however.

If Bluetooth and overall responsiveness work, I'll be fine. Those random one second pauses were an annoyance when listening to podcasts, but with music it became a real dealbreaker. I hope there's none of that with the current updates. I'm also looking forward to making a better use of my Android Wear watch. Sure it pairs with my iPhone too, but the functionality is quite limited.

Today I had the chance to try both the 5X and 6P. Liked the 6P way better. It didn't even feel too big, but in everyday use that could be different. Note 4 was too much for me and 6P is bigger I think. Performance was awesome. Screen was awesome.

5X had a a defective screen. Really, really bad. Never saw a screen that bad. It was like yellowing or the screen had a very yellow tint effect and it also had a big white spot in the middle. The fingerprint scanner was really fast and reliable. Really awesome. Performance was good also, but RAM management was poor. I had two chrome tabs open in the background, went to settings, then used the camera to take a few pics, went back to chrome and it had to reload both tabs. That's what scares me. I'm no heavy multitasking user, but it feels 2GB RAM is not enough for todays tasks.

6P is awesome. Don't know if I could adapt again to that huge size. I love the size of my S6.

I think you should edit your post to "The 5X I used had a defective screen" Nowhere is there this complaint as a major issue. My 5X screen is very nice for what it is.

Just replaced my iPhone 6 with a 6P about 2 weeks ago. Stunning phone really. Best I've ever used - hands down.

Anyone see the Apple keynote today? My goodness, looks like I'll be picking up a Pixel C in the not too distant future.

They really hate their customers and take us as fools (which some of us are) by introducing the new iPad air as a pro and charging the price of a 64gb and giving us 32. Reason why I say some of us are in fact fools is because people are already saying "at least they're giving us 32gb as the base!".

Yes, it's $100 more than comparable pricing for the iPad Air 2 when it was first released or the base price of the 32GB Pixel C. It's also a pretty significant step up in hardware from both of those tablets (display, huge camera improvement, compatibility with Pencil, RAM, CPU, speakers vs. Air 2 and all of that plus TouchID and about 20% lighter than the Pixel C). I don't see how that's unrealistic. And if you don't like it, the Air 2 is still available and matches up or exceeds just about everything else at that price range. Heck, you can get a refurb 64GB Air 2 with full warranty from Apple for another $80 less.

Not sure what the RAM is on the pro, I couldn't find it.

Camera: existing module
SOC: they improve the chip every year
Display: they improve every other year.
Touch ID: carry over feature
Speakers: new
Pencil support: new
Price @32gb: increased

Not disparaging the value of the air 2 which is what they do with previous generation models every year. Speaking to the pricing model compared to historical improvements.

Speaking of reduced pricing you can get a pixel c for 25% off right now from Google. But we all know the reason for choosing an iPad is the quality of the apps compared to Android. Hopefully Google can give developers incentive with Android N.

Yeah that's a shame (and also makes me relieved I picked up the 12.9 pro). I'm glad the SE got the same 2gb though.
How has your experience with the IPP been MRU? I love my iPad Air and i am always so tempted every time I am in an Apple store to pick one up! :)

Yeah, really disappointed by this. I was contemplating getting one but since most of my devices are ultimately handed down to my kids, I worry about the longevity of it with only 2GB. And at the higher price, same RAM as the the Air 2 is tough to swallow. Same amount of RAM in their 'budget' smartphone and 'pro' tablet. Apple's choices with their hardware are truly bewildering sometimes.
