Bummer. I was really hoping for a sub-$499 price. This will make my decision harder.Looks as though everything is pointing to a $499-550 price tag...

So it does have a beastly 4,000mAh battery ? Not the small rumored 3,300mAh battery ? This is a major deal to me, having a perfect size 4,000mAh is just godly battery coupled with the SD835. Whereas the 3,300mAh battery would be ok, but nothing ground breaking.

[doublepost=1497915285][/doublepost]So it does have a large. Not the small rumored tiny battery. Having the 4,000mAh is the best smartphone news all year so far.. Finally someone got smart and did the right thing battery wise on a smartphone.
Great news the leaked spec sheet listing the 4,000mAh battery right there.
I am so sick of smartphones coming with these baby 3,000mAh batteries, even 3,300mAh is meh, and just lame. OnePlus is always saying "Never Settle" and they better have not just "settled" on a 3,300mAh, but actually had balls to put in a 4,000mAh battery.
That's quite possible. I'm terribly concerned that at that point I might have a 5T as my daily driver and the 5 as a spare for running the betasI am slightly concerned OnePlus 5T will be released in 3 months time .....
Do some research please...The R11 has a 6 inch screen. The OP5 apparently has a 5.5
What are you guys hoping to see? Here are a few of mine:
- Waterproof
- Headphone jack
- Under 6 inches tall
- Less than $499.99

Who knew??You've never once given us this impression.
That's my concern as well. If it were released at the same price as their last phone (the OP3T) this would be a very easy choice. But of course it won't be....but that price does keep creeping up.

You guys either have really expensive OnePlus phones or stupidly cheap S8s Even with the projected price increases, an S8 is close to 300 euros more over here. There's a pop-up in London tomorrow but it's going to be stupidly hot weather
Definitely think OnePlus 5 will be a very good phone indeed, but that price does keep creeping up. It's basically what I paid for my S8.
Reckon the camera will be a big step up - and I'd be interested to find out what the speakers are like (my S8 speaker isn't great).
With current sales and promos here in the US, you can buy a S8+ for as cheap as $450 (trading in an old smartphone). This is in addition to the variously freebies (SD card, Netflix, Gear 360), and the BOGOS from Samsung/TMobile. It really sucks for the early adopters who pre-ordered and purchased at full price. You guys either have really expensive OnePlus phones or stupidly cheap S8s Even with the projected price increases, an S8 is close to 300 euros more over here.
DOH! Looks like a 3300 mAh battery so we know you think it is lame and won't get oneSo it does have a beastly 4,000mAh battery ? Not the small rumored 3,300mAh battery ?
