So it does have a beastly 4,000mAh battery ? Not the small rumored 3,300mAh battery ? This is a major deal to me, having a perfect size 4,000mAh is just godly battery coupled with the SD835. Whereas the 3,300mAh battery would be ok, but nothing ground breaking.

Great news the leaked spec sheet listing the 4,000mAh battery right there.

I am so sick of smartphones coming with these baby 3,000mAh batteries, even 3,300mAh is meh, and just lame. OnePlus is always saying "Never Settle" and they better have not just "settled" on a 3,300mAh, but actually had balls to put in a 4,000mAh battery.

Looks as though everything is pointing to a $499-550 price tag as well. It doesn't look like a bad phone at all. I would have preferred if they had a more original design but it is not a deal breaker. I like how they addressed in the video that it simply was not possible to achieve an all screen design this generation which likely means that one is coming, maybe a OP 5T? Size matters to me as the previous phones were just to big to be comfortable and I am really interested in seeing what the camera has to offer.

Bummer. I was really hoping for a sub-$499 price. This will make my decision harder.

Nothing is confirmed until tomorrow but the chart above shows about $510 for the cheapest model in India. There are a few sporadic reports of a $479 US price tag so we shall see tomorrow.

Wow. If this is legit this thing is a beast and maybe best of the year. Too bad it's not available for VZW. :(

Well, I have purchased every OnePlus so far, OnePlus X included. And I still own OnePlus 3T. But this time around, I won't pull the trigger right away.

Design is the problem. Not copying, but just the design. I never use any cases or any kind of protection on my phones. But I found iPhone 6 design to be slippery, and not so ergonomic at all. I will wait to test out OP5 in the hands first, and if it isn't as slippery as iPhone, well, then I will purchase one. But if it is, this will be the first OP phone I won't be buying :(

But still looking forward for the event, even though I'm gonna miss it. I have a futsal match tonight, but I will read everything afterwards :)

€479

Waterproof

Headphone Jack and High Quality DAC

Blue colour (see above)

Would loved a Wide Angle Lens like G6, but sadly it's looking like a HUAWEI / Apple style implementation.

A software commitment from OnePlus to guarantee two years of support and android updates ....

What I don't want to see - OnePlus 5T in less than 12 weeks ....

There's a pop-up in London tomorrow but it's going to be stupidly hot weather :D

Definitely think OnePlus 5 will be a very good phone indeed, but that price does keep creeping up. It's basically what I paid for my S8.

Reckon the camera will be a big step up - and I'd be interested to find out what the speakers are like (my S8 speaker isn't great).

You guys either have really expensive OnePlus phones or stupidly cheap S8s :D Even with the projected price increases, an S8 is close to 300 euros more over here.

With current sales and promos here in the US, you can buy a S8+ for as cheap as $450 (trading in an old smartphone). This is in addition to the variously freebies (SD card, Netflix, Gear 360), and the BOGOS from Samsung/TMobile. It really sucks for the early adopters who pre-ordered and purchased at full price.

DOH! Looks like a 3300 mAh battery so we know you think it is lame and won't get one ;)
