If this is close to accurate then color me intrigued

Sad if it's going to look that similar to the 7P. They don't need to imitate, they need to push their own look. Don't see how they'll benefit from losing some of the identity they've built up after all. I much prefer the 3T with its sharper angles to this. I don't want my Android to look like an iPhone.

OPPO, OnePlus's parent company recently released the Oppo R11. If it's true they are both just sharing the same design.

Meh. No wireless charging, still a question on waterproofing as well. Bezels look big in relation to the flagships we have seen and are seeing come out this year. They copied the ugliest parts of the iphone like the antennas, but they made their antennas contrast even more for extra ugliness. Aren't they fairly slow on OS updates as well?

I feel bad for all the slower oems like them and HTC who are struggling with design, and are probably just simply not equipped to release something with no bezels and such.

I am rooting for the OnePlus 5 to do well including the following possible specs: QHD screen, VR support, IP67 water resistance, VR support, 8GB RAM, and a high end 4K dual camera system with OIS.

Anyways dual camera with a FHD AMOLED display, 6GB RAM, Snapdragon 835 processor, dual camera system seems great. I would definitely consider a move to that rather than a jump to the Note 8 with price in mind.

China brands are always better buy price wise. I used them for 2 years. I would have continue with them if not for the game changing design and the specs of the overly expensive s8.

It's not the S8 is expensive, it's just that your $ can go further with a more price competitive device. Unlike 2012 or 2014, $200 can get you something extremely useable and efficient. Back in 2012, $200 would get you some POS 480p display device with a 512 MB RAM and some crappy processor.

Still pretty excited about this. Can't wait to see the real world results of the camera.

Look for the OPPO R11 and you know the dimensions..
That's what I thought too. But OnePlus hinted that the OP5 would be smaller than the OP3T. Right? And if I'm not mistaken the R11 is larger than the OP3T, which means the OP5 has to be smaller than the R11. True?

True that, hopefully I am wrong, would really like to see the 5 being smaller...
It will be thinner for sure.
