I can't seem to get a clear photo these days. Hmph the lighting wasn't that great and I don't have my kit lens, only 50mm f/1.8 which is probably why.

The light looks good to me: soft and warm. Look at the way it's reflecting off the right-hand side of the house. Maybe a different vantage point could have made the light work for you... instead of against you. :)

Frosty morning on Rydal Water. These two fishermen had all the gear: half a dozen rods on stands, with buzzers to tell them when a fish was biting. They had a tent with a stove and two armchairs.

Then one guy produces this radio-controlled model boat, attaches a baited line and sends the craft out into the middle of the lake. A flick of a switch deposits the bait just where he wants it, and he brings the boat back to shore. I ask how much it cost. More than $700 apparently... :eek:

Hah! Often those little boats have troughs into which groundbait type stuff can be loaded into with remote flaps to allow drop at the right point. To bring the fish in. I assume these people were carp fishing.

More than $700 eh, at today's exchange rate or a year ago?
