Here‘s the extent of my wild bird shots lately. LOL. Shot on Pro Max 12 and cropped. While sitting in the drive through line with my window down, 2 birds started fighting/ tussling mid air, bounced on my windshield and almost flew into my car with their shenanigans. This is the winner proclaiming he’s the winner of the fight! And now he’s deaf from the screams of my grandchild. 😆

Another moon attempt, this time with the PL100-400 and using high-res mode. It was a bit breezy and my tripod is definitely not so wobble-free to handle the setup. The tripod was included free with the purchase of the camera body, so I guess it's worth every penny? :p I might just try handheld tonight if the sky permits.

Very nice, have you heard of the Looney 11 rule? I've been using it and have gotten near perfect exposures every time.

do you use a macro lens, or close up lenses, or both for your wonderful images?
I can make just about any lens into a macro lens. 🙂 I do have a dedicated 105mm 1:1 macro lens; I used it quite a bit over the summer but haven't used it lately. I also have a Lensbaby Velvet 56 which is a 1:2 lens, so not a full macro, but allows focusing within inches. I got extension tubes a few weeks ago, so most of my recent work I've used those for even closer focusing. I also have screw on macro filters for some of my other lensbabies, and my last trick is a snap-on Raynox filter that I can fit on most of my normal lenses.

I use all sort of combinations. 🙂
