A B&W conversion. I waited an hour for her to poke her head out completely, she kept sticking one eye out sideways. Finally she poked out and looked at my dog, sitting next to me. Kinda couldn't do anything about the branches, except use the one to frame the opening a little. Still 'n all, patience rewarded.

Wonderful shot, was it a smoky day, or just low light?
I keep trying to get a similar shot here in the land of mists, but I haven't been happy with one yet. Good job:)
Thanks! It was a pretty windless and smoggy day. One of the few times where the smog actually worked in my favor. :)

Edit: Amazing shot, paintball312! I myself tried to do some astrophotography recently and failed pretty miserably. :p

Still have to process this set:

^^I took a very similar shot, except my shot isnt sharp at all, because in the particular shot my exposure was too long, and the stars moved. However it seems like I picked up a little more of the milky way then is visible to the naked eye.

Very cool! Even with the bit of star trailing. I was looking to get one like that, but that part of the milky way was behind me and covered by clouds :(

Ahhhh, but you cut me to the quick with your comments regarding the rear end of the Ferrari:( I'm a Massa fan. Anyone got any Honda Ruckus shots?? Cheers and Thanks

Found this guy when I went to toss these out these peonies from our garden... good thing my daughter did not take care of it... it would have been a horrible mess:D
