Wild Rose And Wind Belt
From 2004 and that original 3.2MP Olympus P&S camera.
A view towards Waterton Lake from the Akamina Parkway, Waterton National Park, AB. The 2017 fire would have swept through this area propelled by 100KM/hr winds, and everything seen on this side of the lake is now scorched.

he shares his house with you - what else do you want?
Well, Luna, our white cat, actually runs the holding company (Luna Inc.) that owns "Luna and Larry Ice Cream" and "Luna Bars". All we are to her is a source of money to fund her corporate empire. ???

So Sinclair being willing to share his house with us is actually really nice. ?

We had a really good warm spell (with some high winds). Stuff is greening up fast, and 3 days of rain coming up will only accelerate that even more.

I'm watching the daffodil stalks out in front of my building.....no actual flowers yet, just the leaves.
I definitely see some of the earlier varieties up with heads but nothing has opened yet on my daily route. Our weather is warm through tomorrow and then we get back to cooler temps, so it still may be another week or so. :(

Not been very active this last month or so. Took advantage of a 30-minute break in the clouds to capture the Mars-Pleiades conjunction. Taken with 70-300mm Canon lens. Could have done with a lot more exposure time but you take what you can get. I like the colour contrast between the red-ish Mars and the bue-ish nebulosity around the Pleiades.

If anyone is interested in how to do some basic astrophotography shots using standard equipment and free/cheap software, let me know and I'll put together a how-to posting.

Very interested!
