Thanks! Yup, they are flies. It was taken at a wildlife preserve, on a dirt road that travels about 4 miles out into the marshes. The flies/mosquitoes/greenheads get so bad that you can only keep your window down for about 10 seconds before you get swarmed!

No need for a sensor clean then. You might want to use the cloning tool to get rid. What software you using?

I like the color in this shot. Sunset?

I agree…great shot - great light.

Nice eagle. I only get sparrows round here!

Very cool shot CharlieBrandt09. He's got a good lock on that goose. Don't image that he'll find it very tasty.

AFB…that's not an eagle. Ask MacRy what kind of bird it is. :)

Hello guys, this is a photo I took a while ago but my girlfriends mum has just had the 'back room' in the house decorated, it's like a beach theme. So I did some editing to the photo for the purpose of getting it made into a canvas to put in the newly decorated room! I've never had any pictures made into a canvas so I'm unsure how it will look - just looking for device if you think the editing is appropriate for a canvas? Also if anyone in the UK has a recommendation for a good place for canvases -let me know please! The initial editing was done in Lightroom, then the main effect you see was done in Analogue Effects 2 from Nik!

EDIT! - This was useful posting this here! The white boarder around the image loots great against the dark background of Lightroom, but is totally lost on the white background of the forum! Might have to rethink this one as the walls in the room are white!

Really dig this photo.

Another photo from some pics I took while taking our daughter to the zoo. We were sitting in the restaurant at the zoo and I noticed that the light spilling into the room was really great. My wife was sitting next to our daughter and she was wearing a long-sleeved white shirt which made an excellent bounce-light.

It's Autumn DownUnder, plum leaves in one of the fountains. I'm hoping to get some nice colour imagery today, not that we have lots of Autumnal colours around here...

That's really weird as I saw the same shot on someone's Google+ feed today but more panoramic and wondered where it was as it's a really cool building.

Yours is also a great shot.

Thanks - it is a great building. I also did a panorama, but a vertical one. When I got home and reviewed my pics I was kicking myself for not doing a horizontal one. Still, it's only a few miles away, so now I have an excuse to revisit.

Looks like you were at Forsythe NWR?? Great place ('cept for the bugs). I try to get down there once or twice a year but it's a haul for me.
