Hadrian's Wall, for example, has been plundered for 'dressed' building stone ever since the Romans left. But, hey, if you had to choose between building materials that you could just pick up for free, or building materials that had to be quarried with great effort... what would you do?
Barely taken a pic in the last three weeks: too busy, bad weather, etc. Here's a shot from yesterday: a little, local stone circle. Not exactly Stonehenge... but a nice place for an afternoon stroll...
What camera/lens/settings?

Do you know this downloads at 300 dpi? That's press quality if someone felt like stealing it. I deleted it after reading the EXIF data.
Edit: Everything in your Flickr feed is 300 dpi, too. Just my observation.

It's only a bit over 1500px wide, which would only create a slightly over 5x3" print at 300dpi. While that may have some value, probably not a lot. All my picasaweb shots are maxxed out at 1600px wide, which aren't really commercially viable, but might be good enough for someone to dl them for personal use.Do you know this downloads at 300 dpi? Lovely atmospheric shot... though I'd have waited for the guy to take a few more steps, so he was 'framed' by trees...
