Great photo, as are several others of yours here. My apologies if you have explained elsewhere but I have been puzzled by the lens used here - is the 18-55 not an ef-s lens? Have you modified it for full frame use?

I rarely make prints of my photographs, but I'm thinking of having a print done of this; I'm rather fond of this photograph. "Red Man"
Side thought: Any suggestions as to what I should do when posting my photographs online, particularly this website? I see many of you have watermarks. I've never created such a beast before, but I'm leery about others printing my photographs without consent, possibly for distribution. Or am I simply a paranoid patty in that regard?

I'll have to look into the copyright laws. While I color corrected and cropped the photo, the photograph is of a much larger Native oil painting. Not sure how that works when you photograph someone else's work and alter the image. But thanks for enjoying my photograph! In the age of political correctness and all of the controversy over the name of US pro football team the Washington Redskins be aware that the print's name might raise some controversy, Personally, I find no problem with the name of the proposed print. With respect to watermarks, there are two sides to the issue with most, IMO, favoring not placing watermarks on a print. In the age of Photoshop, watermarks have been easily removed. You'd be better served copyrighting the picture through the US Copyright Office at www.copyright.gov. I'm sure you could do a google search to see how this can be done. Oh, and I love the picture![]()

The copyright would seem to belong to the artist who painted the picture; you have just copied a portion of it. Ironic to be talking about watermarks when you have appropriated someone else's image without permission or attribution...![]()
I wonder how it works because the art museum allows photography. Hmm I wish I could remember what the plaque read next to the painting but I don't have the files any longer (I cleared my SD cards). When I go back during the Christmas holiday I'll be sure to find out.The copyright would seem to belong to the artist who painted the picture; you have just copied a portion of it.
