With the talk about S Utah parks, here’s a shot from our trip to Bryce Canyon in 2012.
This reminds me so much of Alice Springs, Australia

Cool! I had a 54 XK-120 FHC back in the 80s (have a 67 E today)View attachment 2103380
My daughter in my '51 Jag XK-120 - 1966
120 Ektachrome shot on my Hasselblad-scan doesn't do it justice.
That's a very nice place for a bath...

Looks friendly enough. But could also be that guy from Twin Peaks 🤔a pirate in the room
IR photography is interesting - and niche. I was thinking about getting another camera body, and have it converted to IR.
Sorry, my infrared camera is fully converted, so I don't use filters on a normal camera.
I currently have a Nikon D70 for my infrared work.
The camera was taken apart and an appropriate filter installed onto the sensor, and I bought it already done.
It's not so much the taking of photos you need to research as that is what you will already know; it's the processing of pictures afterwards
Cheers
Hugh
Thank you for the kind words. I was looking into IR conversions and found that they run about $275. Choosing between classic b/w or color.that’s an option as well. Right now I have a wide angle on my old body, and tele on the new one. But that’s not really needed, as I know in advance it’ll be ‘an afternoon of wide shots’. So yeah, I could convert the old body. Well, have it done for me
And there we have it, someone with a converted camera. Did you make it to be 720nm? Or doesn’t this question work like that?
PS Your photo in the following post is truly beautiful
My Nikon D70 is 720nm, but the Panasonic G1 that particular photo was taken with was 590nm, hence the ‘goldie’ effect.that’s an option as well. It is a cool museum. I've been to the main location on the Mall several times over the years but we've only made it to the Udvar-Hazy Center once. I'd like to get back there one of these days to see it again.oh that’s pretty close to me! my son loved visiting when he was small.
