Shot this while in the car on the way home so the framing isn't very good, but what can you do. D40 with 18-55mm kits lens.

Mr. Doylem -I really believe the grass is greener on your side of the fence ;) Very nice landscape once again.
macdaddy121 -Always nice to see a pups friendly face, so how old is the pup?
Martin C -I really like photos such as this one, some grain look with a feeling of a causal motion if you will.
SolracSelbor -I really have enjoyed your latest photos, very nice indeed.
To many great photos to not include everyone, great work! :D

marclapierre13, rather than telling how how I did, how about I'll show you where I learned how to do 90% of that shot;). Check out the "White Seemless" tutorials here (4 parts, plus a video where he answers questions and shows you some of the post processing).

Some good photos, but just a reminder: this is a PHOTO of the day thread, not photos.

Yeah, good stuff, keep 'em coming, but one at a time. I particularly like the car shot; the architecture seems to be from the same era as the car, giving the whole a cohesive vintage feel. I have to say I'm not crazy about the girl bending over and grabbing her ankles: woman-as-brainless-object is so passé.

I really like this picture. I'm going to guess it's HDR, but it's a very good use of it. The photo almost has a Norman Rockwell feel to it. Well done!

thank you:) actually, it's not an HDR or even tone mapped for that matter. Just the 'ol High Pass filter with Hard Light blend mode trick.

Wherever I hang my hat...

Great shot... With the waves crashing in the background, the tern (??) seems strangely still before its plunge. It would make a good poster, I reckon...

You're really developing a style... a style that matches your subject matter, rather than just done 'for effect'... I love the pastel pink against the charcoal-grey background, and the simplicity of the image...
