Another attempt at producing an HDR image.
No tripod , so I risked taking it handheld and hoped that the software would take care of any issues. I think it did a good job.
Taken with a Fuji S9100, +/-1 EV.

Triangulum Galaxy
Wooooow.. (Gazes eyes wide open). So clear...I wish I could take such clear, detailed pictures of the stars, but to be honest I wouldnt know where to start.
Thanks Very much Fuzzy14 & Marclapierre .
The whole process for this photo was as follows :)
Shot using Pentax K10d on Tripod with 18-55mm using Nd8 Grad filter and Circular polariser,
Downloaded using Aperture with slight adjustment to contrast and saturation but large adjustment to white balance. Then slight modification to curves applied to RGB in Photoshop.
No other work done :D

Wow, not to much work done, it turned out great. And great camera too...:) PS: Id love to see the original too...if its buried in your flickr ill find it, im going to search now hehe.

lake shot

I like the shot I got, but I am struggling with the deep color detail (see lower portion of lake). Shooting RAW in the past, I have had no problems pulling details out of dark areas like this, but the Nikon system seems to have a bit of trouble in that range. Prints fine, more than acceptable, but in certain cases when post-producing for web, I have nothing to work with in dark or shadow areas. frustrating. trying some different RAW in-camera settings.

What are you doing here?

Nikon D40, 30mm

This is a follow up to my last posted image.
I wanted to go past them, but they didn't let me.
