What camera did you finally choose?I picked up a new camera, I was testing out the macro capability of it and I kind of like this shot

Taken with my iPhone 6S so unfortunately, the quality is not great. Tried to get the shadows of the skyscraper but the picture is "burned".

Playing around with some night shots I took last May in Death Valley . Taken with a Canon SL2 , Rokinon 10mm ,f2.8 (Probably)@25 seconds , ISO 6400 . Drove 8-9 miles from where I was staying to be away from any light . Sure was dark when I set up , but the images revealed light from Beatty , Nevada , over the mountains , probably 20 miles off . Image cleaned up via Topaz Denoise

XT3 and XF 16-55mm and asperitas and other strato alto clouds yesterday.
Thanks for looking,
Ed
Thanks . Yeah , it's a big change from where I live ( just outside NYC in NJ). Lucky I can see the moon where I live , let alone stars .It's pretty amazing how well you can see by starlight out there , once your eyes get acclimated . It's real nice to be able to get away to a place where there's no cell service , no idiots blasting dreck from 900 watt car sound systems , none of the urban noise that one gets inured to . Death Valley is nearly the same in daytime . Its a big place and ,save for a few spots , is pretty empty.Very nice. Must be a great feeling to be out there at that time of night. Splendid isolation.
Just go to broadwalk 12 and use your telephoto!Great day at the beach but why do some people suddenly become camera shy and won't even sign a model release.

Love lions. These pair look tired.
Nice ‘snap’
Beautiful."Pure Shores"
If you could have an untouched beach all to yourself, would you tell anyone about it?
It may not be Maya Bay on Ko Phi Phi, but I feel Killantringan Shore and other beaches within the Rhinns of Galloway (SW Scotland) are arguably better as there are many evenings where you can be the only soul there - and I was lucky to have such good fortune earlier this year, especially on a night as pure as you see in this photograph.
