Flatiron Building, New York City

The Flatiron Building was completed in 1902 with a striking triangular shape to cope with the avenues and streets surrounding it. It was once one of the tallest buildings in New York City, and has appeared in both Spiderman films as the offices of the 'Daily Bugle'.

Awesome shot, Im from KY but travel to NYC on business, the International Toy Building is right there with the Flatiron building. (well it was till they sold last year to build lux. condos) There is a little Italian bistro to the left of about where you would have been standing. Its called Manga, and I highly recommend it.

Thanks for the nice comment Abraxsis! I will be sure to look into Manga the next time I'm down around the Flatiron.

I actually took this shot holding a cheap macro lense made for an old kodak of all things up to my canon G5. I snaped 2 shots and that was the best one. I was being devoured by masquitoes and had to move lol.

The slug was less then a half inch in length tiny thing.
