Small Bird

peachy-bird-2.jpg

Daegu, South Korea

Nikon D40
Nikkor 70-300 VR + Sigma 1.4x t.c

Getting a decent shot of wild birds, especially small ones, takes no small amount of time. I stalked the woods for a couple of hours for this little one. I'm starting to appreciate why bird photographers get the f/2.8 lenses and fast-focusing bodies.

NP. By the way, I think I'm noticing a trend with your compositions...I really like this one too.

I'm still very new to photography so I'm just trying to keep things as basic as possible right now but it is very humbling to hear someone out there likes what I'm doing. Thanks for all of the positive comments. :)

Amazing, Its Hectically Simple (if that makes any sense)

I love the graffiti, it adds that extra punch of color it needed

Thanks fall3n! I was thinking about posting this shot in color, but I like it better in black and white with a little contrast and tint.

I would definitely agree. I think the contrast/tint gives it a far more powerful feeling
