I loved the way this bridge was almost encapsulated in foliage

It's a little sloppy, I know. The feet of the standing version of me were cut off by the chairs original position before i sat in it, and there are some colour/tone variations in the image. I also should have left the shadow of the cloaked figure in the shiny table, but forgot to.

I basically took one image, and then copied and pasted selections of the other pictures into the first one, then erased around them where necessary. Does anyone have any better ideas of how to do it?

Miss Aniela has certainly mastered this photographic technique, which she shouldn't have been introduced to in the first place since she obviously has a wee bit of a problem with Narcissism.

haha, true, but I still greatly respect her work (especially concerning post processing)

My attempt at a macro :)

That's amazing for the kit lens! Were you using a closeup filter or anything?

It gives me new hope for getting some insect pictures with my current eqiupment. If it stops raining I'll sit outside with the camera trained on some flowers this weekend.

Taken in Paradisio Parc in Brugelette, Belgium. One of the few that actually worked out.

Any CC are welcome.

Typical, just when I'm ready to go chasing bees, it starts to rain. And rain. And rain. Anyway, this is all I could shoot between "showers"

Still doesn't compare to VictorM/freebooter's shots, but I suppose you have to start somewhere ;) I think it could do with being a lighter.....

Tis a meagre tomato plant, if anyone's curious ;)

The Hill
Dew in the morning

DSC00371.jpg

This is a picture that my son (high school senior this year) took in the morning. Shot is dew on the trunklid of his 92 Acura Legend Cpe LS. The picture was taken with his cell....SE W810i using macro setting. Sorry I can't provide any more info on the shot. Thought it was interesting. I use it as a wallpaper. I've got to encourage him to take more photos...he has an interesting perspective. I'd like to see him subscribe to this thread as I think he would get some ideas. Unfortunately, he's a PC guy and doesn't go near Mac stuff. I'll try a little arm twisting;). Maybe he'll come around. Anyway, he has been asking for a digital camera for b'day or xmas. We'll see.

A not so bright summer...

Just upgraded from my P/S to what I would label 'a bridge' camera in the form of the Fuji S5700/S700 (depending on your continent). Solid little camera and I've been having fun with the macro mode in my garden. Please be gentle (first photo ever!), but constructive criticism is very much appreciated!

First try at one of those blurred headlight shots. I need to try to find someplace curvy for some more interesting patterns. I do like how you can see the places the streetlights were reflecting in the body of the car, though.
