I take my camera when I go running on the mountain. Right where I have been starting lately, there are a patches of white and purple flowers that can host interesting creatures. Today I had fun getting shots of this spider (very shy and elusive), a praying mantis and a kind of grasshopper (neither insect was shy or elusive). At the top of the mountain, well...later....

At least it does for me.... curious, auto-white balance in action
