Cheers, Colin.

Likewise, my friend ;)

Woot! That looks awesome has the guys have mentioned as well! The part in the bottom looks so unrealistic but really a cool pic.

Very nice character shot. Great detail and color!

Here's mine for today... perhaps could have gone into the "things that fly" gallery. It's an old WW1 era Jenny bi-plane without the fabric on the wings...

Morning smoker...standing around...enjoying his smoke. Took this when I was wondering around looking at camera stores trying to decide whether to get a 430ex flash or a Sigma 30mm f/1.4. Still haven't decided so I guess I'll be back to shooting and thinking tomorrow. :D

Nice shot Matt. I think you should go for the Sigma 1.4. You'd get a 55mm (ish) focal length, and seeing the amount of street (and night) photography you do, I think it would be worth it.

Just my 2 cents :)

Thanks pilotkid, PimpDaddy, and sweetie81! Glad you liked the photo, I think I have another good waterfall shot I'll try and dig out.

Radio operator's station - WWII B-17 Flying Fortress

The guy who sat here during missions over Europe in the 1940s had to man the radios, navigate, and command the bombing runs. And if that wasn't enough, he also had to handle a 50cal. machine gun to fire through the "hole" in the fuselage roof when necessary. (He was not the top turret gunner, who was further up towards the front.) All in temps which often were 15-20 below zero F. Be grateful, folks... :)
