testing out my new SB-600 flash from nikon i bought today, makes a world of diffrence over the on board flash.

Yikes - that sky would be great for an EPA report cover on why the region is still not in compliance with the Clean Air Act.
I loved this - freezing water in motion is often engrossing, but I thought this was a nice take on it.
I know that area very well and you've captured more color in the harbor that I can recall ever seeing (often lots of drab old paint made worse by cloudy or foggy days). Really pretty.
I figure this one would make a cool wallpaper, Taken with nikon d40 and sb600 on a peice of white poster board.

Thanks for the feedback. I've seen the gray, misty days too, but in the summer months and up until mid-Oct. the place is pretty darn colorful, even with all the rusting old hulks and fish processing buildings.
Anyway, today's pic from the waterfront area of Newport, OR. I only wish I could cut down a pole...

I actually have a little UFO thing that has 4 different LEDs on it and I just started waving it around in random motions in front of my camera while it was set to an exposure time of 10 seconds. And thanks
