No editing involved at all. This is how it turned out.

Inside a sunflower, I found a spider hiding from the torrential, monsoon rain. By luck, I captured a drop falling into the frame.

gekko513 said:Thanks seenew and annk. Yes, I'm also a sucker for pictures of water, and was inspired to take and post these by your water pictures, annk. I'm very pleased with the S3 IS, and the short shutter time worked very well when the sun was shining so brightly on the water, making it stand out frozen while the building in the background turned out almost black.
That's a great photo. It has a very gloomy and/or mysterious mood to it. It looks almost like a painting.Lau said:On top of the Long Mynd, Shropshire, UK, 22 July 2006
Cropped slightly, due to a lot of dark ground in the foreground.

I'm posting more photos of lines. I'd post a photo of water, but it wouldn't be nearly as good as what gekko posted, so no way.
Here's a photo. It's just a building in Brisbane, July 31st, 2006. I've posted a few photos of "lines" recently. Haha, it could be a theme for an assignment. Maybe I'll suggest it next month if I remember.

Another one from my holiday, after a 4 hour hike up some massive dusty hills, this was my feet. I like it because it sums up the whole feeling of getting back dirty and tired after a long walk, but nice and relaxed.
