This isn't the exact car I am getting, but I will be negotiating on one in the coming weeks. It's between this Mitsubishi Lancer GTS or a Toyota Corolla XRS. I'm putting down about 6k (thanks to my grandfather for pulling some strings for my summer job) and my parents will fund the rest as a graduation gift.

I'm betting the corolla will last longer, and have better resale. They're great cars~my wife drives an '05 S model.

Of course I don't have my license yet, just my permit. So actually having this thing is kind of redundant. Or adding insult to injury. Your pick.

hilarious. my sister got the Escape Limited, and is in the same situation as you.

I just realized that I haven't posted any pics of the Talon. So, here it is. This was last fall, but it hasn't changed since then. And, I could post pics of my daily driver, but its just a 2004 Maxima, so nothing real special. Anyway, here is my toy...

I'm 25 and so far I've had...

1985 Pontiac Fiero GT
1997 Pontiac Grand Prix GT
2003 Nissan 350Z
2004 Nissan Sentra Se-R
2007 Nissan Sentra 2.0s
2009 Nissan Versa SL

And my toy,
2003 Honda VTX 1300

I'm currently driving the Versa, but I don't like it very much. In July, I should be taking delivery of a Nissan Cube which should be interesting (to say the least). Based on my vehicles, you can probably tell when I began working for Nissan and when I moved to Chicago.

I can't seem to find any pictures of my Versa. It must be time to organize my photos.

screw resale values and whats supposedly more reliable. the corollas one of he most boring cars you could get. get a lancer. for all the past gens mitsu's made one good car, the evo, and now theyre finally basing the base lancer off of it. its gotten really great reviews. toyota hasnt built a fun car in a decade.

Mine:

[HUGE LINCOLN CONTINENTAL]

wow, you are going to take up the ENTIRE road

on the plus side, if you ever need to work on the engine, the front end is so huge that you'll probably just be able to stand inside there next to the engine

i secretly wish i had a car like that. i had a late eighties oldsmobile that was big but not that big. i loved it cause it was such a floaty ride and the interior was like sitting on a sofa couch. actually i even slept in there a couple times and was comfortable

My humble little Renault Clio. It's been in the family since new, and it's absolutely pristine. I'm 16, and I don't really need anything more!

It's a cracking little car.

My parents, however, are slightly more modernised xD

is it just me that can instantly tell which fotos are from the UK compared with the US? Apart from the actual cars, the ones in the UK seem grey and a bit damp from constant rain!

Yeah, it's my run-over-the-damn-hippies-mobile.

I almost can... if it weren't for the hoses and wires and stuff I could. :p

My dog sleeps in the back seat sometimes. He really loves it.

Just picked up a Honda Accord Coupe EX-L, black on black. HFP suspension is on the way. New HID's on the way. Tint's going on next week. Rims and tires soon enough.

That's gonna look hawt. Throw up some pics soon.

Will do. I hope to have everything put on this weekend, but I have to make room between my colleges football spring game, a Pirates game and a mandatory class play, Urinetown. Should be a very busy weekend, but only 3 weeks of school left.

Here's a more current photo of mine. I put the grille on myself ;) It's an official part from the Sportline version though. :D

I'm proud.
