BMW really screwed thierselves on the 135i. WIth a flash, downpipes and cat back it is putting down much better numbers than the m3. I think it is one of the best cars out this year.

I bet the M3 will still out handle the 135i with a tune as the M3 has the better suspension.

You want the best car that came out this year, IMHO it's the Corvette ZR1. It is eating up the competition.

Not a bad car at all. ;)

How about best car for the money.

It is nearly 100k more than the 135i

It's still the best car even for the money. Yeah, it still costs $107K, but that LP670-4 SV costs $452,000. How is that for value? :) Corvette's have always been one of the best bang for your buck car considering the regular one costs $50K and competes fairly well with cars costing a whole lot more then it.

My parents had corvettes when I was a kid. So I am a corvette fan secretly. I would never own one. I am a fan of forced indutcion. I need 2 turbos in my cars.

The ZR1 is forced induction, though it is a supercharger instead of turbo's.

There is also the Corvette Callaway with a S/C V8. :)

Running only a 6 psi. I can't wait till it is cranked up to the 20's.

Smaller pulley and a tune that car will be spanking 1000cc motorcycles.

Definitely I wish I could have a car like an 135i but being only 17 I can only afford so much which is why I am in the car I am in. But you also have to remember that evo engines are incredibly strong one of the strongest 4 bangers out there IMO with how much power you can get out of the stock block.

A few days ago my '98 Cadi Deville took its last drive :(. So I begged my old man to let me buy his '05 Infiniti FX35. He'd sold it to me for $6000 :D which amazing considering the resale value of around 14K. I got $800 for the Cadi so I've only got to work about 3 months to pay the rest off! But then my insurance goes up too :(. Gah, that's all I do is work to pay for car insurance, gas, and rent. It is all stock and will remain that way until I can afford to at least pay for food.
This picture is a few months ago after it had a new windshield installed. Damn semis with no mud flaps. I will be borrowing my friend's SLR next weekend to do some proper shots.

If I had a little over $100k to spend on a car, my choice would be the new 911 GT3. Granted, it is down over 200hp from the ZR1, but on a track I think it would put up a good fight. The ZR1 is a fantastic piece of kit for the $$$, but I just love Porsche.

His evo is a completely different machine then your bmw, his car is a road going rally car that is a great performer, while your bmw is a intro luxury car that is great performer at what it does. Two different machines apples to oranges IMO. So yeah to get this thread back on track here is my first car, a 2000 subaru impreza 2.5rs.

A stock evo is by no means a rally car and neither is your 2.5rs. Both cars are as much rally cars in their stock form as a honda civic is a 911 turbo.

And a 135 > evo any day of the week. A 135 with the JB3 is a fantastic car with tons of power as well as modest luxury. They're even pretty big inside.

I didn't mean that it was a pure rally car in any sense. But rally cars are based off both of those cars and it is completely different then call a civic a 911. I know there is a difference between my car and a rally car, and I never said an evo was better then a 135 I said they where completely different from one another and are great at what they each do.

In your opinion anyway. Let's take an Evo IX as an example. They're pretty nice inside, with enough luxury for most.
Evo IX FQ300 0-60mph in 4.5s
BWW 135i M Sport 0-60mph in 5.1s
So Evo IX > 135i

But a BMW will out drive almost any car.... The handling is amazing and very nimble unlike the evo...

Do you live your life by magazine 0-60 quotes? If that's the case then I guess you think .6s is worth looking trashy in an evo.
