hey theres just as much suspension in a straight line car as there is in a car that goes left n right. the big misconception in 1/4 mile racing is the only way to make a car quicker is to have more horsepower, not true. in my tbird i run about 5-8 miles per hour slower then some other people yet we have the same ET's, my suspension is setup for it.

mommy and daddy buy you that too? go get a job buy your own stuff.

no comment, but thats kinda funny.

@ the Yukon owner: Your parents bought you an SUV so you wouldn't trash your Bimmer? From the sounds of things no car would survive your abuse. Perhaps that's what's wrong with people, when you buy a car it has required maintenance on not just the engine, but sometimes suspension and drivetrain parts need maintenance or replacing.

what? my abuse? my parents bought me a yukon because the other car they got me was an M3, which is a pretty low slung rough riding car. i go to school in a city full of poorly maintained roads with huge unavoidable pot holes. it was too rough on the M3, so we got something that could take a few pot hole smashings and jump a few curbs without putting up a fuss.

not to mention you can fit WAY more beer in a yukon, and driving a large SUV feels good, man.

I honestly don't care how people view my post. Really, I don't. I'm just being honest with my opinion. I dont like foreign vehicles, never have, never will. I have the same view on some of GM's products, Pontiac for example. Complete garbage, across the entire line. A slight exemption for the GTO, but the last decent Pontiac was built somewhere in the early/mid 70's.

The Pontiac G8 was a good car. Those Aussies sure know how to make some fine RWD vehicles. :D

A) Why did your parents buy you an M3 or any BMW? I am of the opinion of that kids shouldn't have BMW's unless they pay for them with their own money( including maintenance).

B) Need to get priorities straight. You don't need a Yukon to hold beer and withstand you being reckless and going curb jumping. The Yukon is totally wasted on you. Do you tow or put anything heavy in the back( besides beer)? While I agree the M3 is not the best winter car, maybe your parents should have bought a smaller crossover SUV like the Ford Escape to be your car instead of a M3 and then having to buy you a Yukon......

I love how everyone is telling this guy how he should do things, like their opinion on the matter really means anything. The crazy seems to be slowly spreading across MR, and I find it quite hilarious.

Sankersizzle, don't listen to all these grumps on here. It sounds like you have a couple cars that you like, so job well done. Drive safe and have fun.

Ditto. Yes, He's lucky/spoiled to be given nice rides but no one's opinion here really matters at all. This is PICTURE thread, not a stage for jackassery.

It's not about the money; Gas won't last forever and wasting it for no reason is ridiculous.

Oh My God! Is this really taking place? Go back under the bridge troll. In most of the pictures threads you post in, you:

1. Dont Post a pic.

2. Rip on someone elses taste.

3. Seem to think other people care what you have to say.

4. And are now heading the MacRumors Chapter for Green Peace.

1. Like I said in a previous post, I live and go to college in NYC...why would I frustrate myself by driving?

2. I am not afraid to voice my opinion. Sorry.

3. This is true.

4. I am not an environmentalist by any stretch of the imagination. I just hate when things are wasted.
