If Apple does the plus right meaning camera and battery life right then 1300 would be a condideration for a 128 gb iPhone.
I’m not just going to pAy for size

Likewise when I trade my iPhone X in with EE and get the x plus I’m hoping my monthly tariff will be similar. If the phone does retail for $1300 for the larger size, many people will lease it for 1 year. They won't really pay the retail price unless they want to keep it.
I expect the highest storage X Plus to be around $1349. It's hella expensive, but this is the iPhone I was hoping to get released alongside the current X. It's finally happen. I'm on it. I'm going to be realistic that I won't get my hands on one until after Thanksgiving. This was about the time I was able to get an X, which I later returned.Would you pay up to $1300 (my guess) for a possible 6.5 inch iPhone X Plus next year? If true, it would match the current price of the base model MacBook Pro. Current iPhone X owners, do you think we are beta testing the X? Businesses are pushing the boundaries in terms of pricing. Look at video games with their micro-transactions, half baked games, and forcing loot boxes down our throats (sorta), laptop and phone makers pushing you to buy dongles and so forth.
So far the FaceID has been proven to be unlocked without the users face, initial early scratches/easily scratch-able phones (multiple threads in this forum), GLOD (green line of death), glass is easily breakable compared to previous iPhone models, cracking speakers at high volume, and the ever so notch problem (only to those that are annoyed by it).
I am enjoying the X so far and really love the form factor, as I can hold it in one hand comfortably again over the Plus phones. However, the Plus Xs seem tempting, if true. I have, without a doubt, confidence that Apple will release a Plus size X next year. That way they can get people who bought the X to buy another new iPhone again. It's always been Apple's strategy. Give em a little now, and incrementally come out with something better. Or, do you think Apple should have released the Plus size now alongside with the regular X?
Positives on the Plus size X:
-True multitasking like Ipad Pro
-Picture in Picture
-Longer battery life
-Better PPI
-120hz screen
The way this is going, I assume the regular iPhone models (6, 7, 8 styles) be phased out.

Not Necessarily. That’s what everybody was saying about the iPhone X when it was going to launch, that ‘Nobody would be able to get one’ and it would be ‘After the new year until Apple caught up on orders’, etc. However, I think if the iPhone X Plus is priced higher than most would be interested in, With Apple expanding three model iPhones this year with a 6.1/5.8 /6.5, that gives more variety of a choice to the consumer. And I don’t think the iPhone X Plus will be the most popular, because it might be the most expensive, which might strengthen availability. There might be some constraint initially at first, but if Apple has a decent amount of production models available for the iPhone X Plus, then there might be more stock available.
Yeah I highly doubt availability would be a problem on an X Plus. With its extreme price tag and huge form it will appeal to a much smaller audience.
They won't add 3d touch to keep low cost? Didn't that idea came into your mind?If Apple includes 3D Touch on the 6.1 LCD rumored iPhone, that’s a huge selling point for me. So I’m hoping they may retain that feature specifically, even though it’s rumored that it may not be. And Apples LCD displays are some of the best in the industry as well.

It will be noticeably bigger than a 6s - the X is already marginally larger than the standard iPhone 6-8 at 5.8... it’ll probably end up intermediary in size between the 4.7 and 5.5, maybe slightly closer to a plus based on the width of the screen if you look up a comparisonI’m with you there. I don’t care about the single camera as it’s all I’m used to anyway but it has to have 3DTouch to keep my interest. As long as the device is not too much bigger than my 6S that is. Not bothered about OLED particularly as I’m happy with the quality of LCD. It’s just that one rumour that’s putting me off. The X Plus will be one of those devices where you’ll see one once in a while I think.
Ah, that’s a bit of a killer then. I hate big phones and could handle slightly bigger than I have already but if it’s going to be closer to the Plus then I won’t bother looking at it. I have a feeling i’ll be getting an iPhone 8 come September the way things are going. It will be noticeably bigger than a 6s - the X is already marginally larger than the standard iPhone 6-8 at 5.8... it’ll probably end up intermediary in size between the 4.7 and 5.5, maybe slightly closer to a plus based on the width of the screen if you look up a comparison
The current iPhone X offers 64GB and 256. Apple won't be selling 16GB and 32GB on their future flagship phones. It'll be $1299 for the 16Gb version, $1399 for the 32Gb version, and $1599 for the 512Gb version.
Plus tax.......
I was making jokesThe current iPhone X offers 64GB and 256. Apple won't be selling 16GB and 32GB on their future flagship phones.
If some of the rumors are true, look for either 128 or 512GB storage sizes on the bigger phone.
Thanks for the clarification. Since I don't know your posting style, I thought maybe you were confusing with an older model.I was making jokes
I thought it was obviously a joke, although i suppose some people could actually believe it going by past experiences....Thanks for the clarification. Since I don't know your posting style, I thought maybe you were confusing with an older model.
There was also the rumour the 6.1 would be replacing the 8 series - I don’t know if by that they mean the 8 is disappearing or just the usual everything gets shunted down a place?Ah, that’s a bit of a killer then. I’m happy to buy last year’s iPhone 8 and make a saving rather than buy a new iPhone 6.1” inferior on features. Apples direction is truly puzzling of late. They are really cutting out a core part of their consumers downgrading mainstream offerings and putting prices up. I’ve gone from getting the latest and greatest to really questioning where my money is actually going. There was also the rumour the 6.1 would be replacing the 8 series - I don’t know if by that they mean the 8 is disappearing or just the usual everything gets shunted down a place?
