Great picture!
Our first rescue, Cooper:
Our foster-turned-failure, Duncan:
oh. her name is Java, she's a small westie, 6 kilograms only. has been with us for 10 years now, still going strong. even survived the baby which is 3 now
and yes, it's a great breed to have - cute, but it's actually a work dog and pretty low maintenance. did my research prior to buying the pup.
Lovely photographs.
In this context, what does 'foster turned failure' mean exactly?
If there's any truth in the saying "Eyes are the mirror of the soul", these two must be great friends to have around.
This is our dog, we rescued him from a Dog Shelter when he was 1-2 years old. According to the Vet/animal Shelter he is an Italian greyhound, which I believe because once he runs there is no catching him (actually measured him running at 26mph). His name is Ricky and when we rescued him he was recovering from a car accident apparently a car ran/hit him and broke one of his paws( now he only has a scar and made a full recovery if he could run that fast.)

These are our 2 Cane Corso, Blue and Lola though sadly Blue passed over the Rainbow Bridge just before Christmas.
We miss Blue dearly, but Lola another rescue we adopted has helped ease the pain of her loss.
Never experienced the Cane Corso breed until we adopted Blue and don't think we'll ever own another breed now, totally fallen for them
Dogsitting for some friends for the first time. She is a joy. Such a mellow character.

My dad took this when I was a teenager (I've recently been digitalising his prints).
I was actually lying behind the log calling the dogs towards the camera ...

Until I read this thread, and saw your pictures, I had never even heard of the Cane Corso breed.
Very nice pictures.
That animal looks as though he has a pretty distinct personality; lovely photograph, by the way.
