I guess I am for sure not getting it...unless I head down there and HOPE they can help me at the counter

I was in the same situation. I just called Fedex and told them I would rather pick it up at the facility (instead of having it delivered). The first lady I called didn't let me. So I called back later and I was able to get someone who was able to help me out.
 
mine was finally delivered but did not get the signature - they do that always at my place
 
Wow. I had already given up hope last night when saw that my ETA was 6/22 and was still in Memphis late last night. Woke up and check my tracking again and now it shows it's OUT FOR DELIVERY!!

BTW, I ordered through the Premier site on 6/12 and selected 2-day delivery.
Yeah, looks like SoCal people (and maybe West Coasters in general) are getting their iPhones today.
 
perhaps everyone can say what service delivered their iphones? The majority is FedEX and UPS while very few of us got shafted with USPS

i am hoping maybe it has shipped and there was just some glitch in the processing to inform ATT or me of anything....yeah right!

i mean i did order 2 new iPhones..maybe that is the problem.

my status hasn't updated worth a damn haha. i just keep hoping that it will appear at my office...

No, I don't think that's really the case. I ordered the lowly 16gb on the 12th. I had the same status (i.e. NO STATUS). And to the other poster, I live in SoCal, there goes the theory.

maybe the theory is just that everyone at at&t are idiots. Which is basically my theory for everybody i have ever met....including me. lol
 
good news and bad news.

good news: I am not alone
bad news: I could easily walk into the local AT&T store this morning and walk out with one. Spock would have said: It is a very illogical decision...

I think it is more of a classic "The Left Hand doesn't know what the EFF Right Hand is doing" ATT Management style.

yeah, i just called the premier service and they clearly gave me a pre-written response. didn't even look up my order information.
 
I ordered 2 on the 12th as well. Nothing. No help from AT&T Premier support or the supervisor I got transferred to. They attempted to upgrade my shipping to overnight when the back-orders come in. But "the system" wouldn't even let them do that. So I can take it whenever it shows up... or leave it. End of story.
 
I finally got mine.. it looks like ATT switched the shipping from the 2 day one to standard overnight because there was two stickers (standard overnight) on top of the original sticker with the 2day shipping
 
Yes!!!! Out for Delivery!!!!

Ordered the 10th; shipped yesterday and said 2 day service with a scheduled delivery of Monday 22nd.

However, arrived in Raleigh this morning and at 7:41 was at the local facility and at 7:53 changed to "On FedEx vehicle for delivery"!!! Yay!

So, my apartment office will get to sign for it and I'll pick it up after work!! Awesomeness!

Update! It was delivered just after 11a.m. and left at the door, no sig req. So I took a long lunch to go home and get it and it is now in my hands!
 
just waiting. out for delivery since 7.06 am pst. LA area. It might take awhile. Just when you were about to kick ATT's arse... they pull a stunt like this. NAAAhh.. I still want to kick some ATT arse, because of the trauma they've put us through. If you missed the delivery, at least you should be able to pick it up on Sat. after first attempt, if I'm not mistaken. The remaining Premier customers who are still left in the dark regarding their orders, at least some apple customers are having trouble activating their phones.
 
My iphone was shipped USPS priority mail...



Anyone else having their iphone shipped USPS? USPS tracking sucks, its not as detailed as FedEX or UPS, or even DHL. If no today, maybe saturday...
yes. Mine was shipped via USPS yesterday by priority Mail. That is 2-3 days. USPS is very reliable IMO. I will probably see my iPhone tomorrow.
 
Ordered on June 12 (Premier, of course). Paid for overnight.

Left BO status yesterday morning, got a tracking number yesterday noon via online AT&T Premier chat. (Still no email, whatsoever, but I didn't buy an email)

Our phones just got into my wife's hands! The 3gS Eagles have landed!

Now, I just have to get off this damned ship and fly home to go play with my new phone.

Woot!

Thanks for sharing, MB. I have resisted the urge to call Premier since I am not in the mood to yell nor arguing, despite of the obvious blunder.

At this point, the only hope I have is to assume that ATT Order status page is in a complete SNAFU and there is a chance that the FEDEX or UPS truck will pulled into my driveway....

Don't hold your breath. I ordered 2 phones as well (only one iPhone) on the 10th. I have heard absolutely nothing since I placed the original order. All I get on the premier order status page is the 'will process shortly' message. I can't get ANYTHING from the regular AT&T order status page.

So this morning I called to make sure everything was ok. I was told they had some problems but everything is ok now and it should ship today. I called back 3 hours later and was told that they had a problem porting one of the numbers, and now it's ok - and my order would be processed WITHIN 24 TO 48 HOURS! As long as I didn't lose my iPhone seat, it should ship Monday...supposedly.

Here's the kicker - and why you should call. We all know these CS reps are idiots - like with every other large company these days. However, the last one I spoke to told me that the approval and processing process is largely automated. When there is in issue, the system tries to solve it, then bounces it back - and it bounces back and forth until someone notices. If nobody notices, it just gets stuck on the loop. Mine was stuck in the loop. The guy told me that if I had called and complained earlier, they would have noticed sooner and fixed it. Right or wrong, it had me spitting blood. Just call...don't count on the morons at AT&T to fix it.

yeah i've called twice. i mentioned this a few pages back...so far the iphones are sitting at some warehouse not shipped yet..and i ordered on the 9th!
 
Question: Once the order status stated: Backordered: 0 and Shipped: 0, how long before it changes to Shipped: 1?

Mine has been in this status since last night.
