Public Places You Use Your iPad?

I am not being sarcastic. This is me. Just like you. At least I can admit it.

Look, there's zero reason for owning an iPad. We've got iPhones and notebooks. If ever there was a group of people who could relate to my lifestyle its you folks.

Maybe excepting the wi-fi owners, that is.

BJ is my new idol. He's probably used to this sort of thing. With how incredibly awesome he is I am sure lots of people idolize him.

My question for him is, what do I have to do to join the iPad 3G Elitist Club®? I own an iPad 3G and I think I am pretty sweet. Can I join?

They stopped fighting and got silent. It was priceless. Salvation Army parking lots, WalMart eyecare centers, McDonald's drivethru windows. Everywhere is a great place to whip out the iPad.

I've got a 3G so I can understand how some of you wi-fi types likely can't relate.

Lol.. so funny..

I take my ipad everywhere, work, restaurant, starbucks, boarders. Past weekend, I took Virgin America flight to fly from SF to Seattle. Since VA has Wifi service (paid service), I was able to use my ipad and connect to WEB. Before ipad, i used to take out my 15" MBP for internet. But now I can use iPad!! so convenient!!!
 
I'm going to the theaters an hour early tonight to ensure a good seat for iron man 2. I'll be playing my iPad until the trailers start :)

Please add such to your sig. The sooner we get our membership up, the sooner we won't have to tolerate the naysayers and eventually get our own iP3G subforum. We really shouldn't have to talk iPad with the wi-fi contingent. It's not right. On flights, there's first class and there's coach. Same thing here.

I glued my 3GS (with MyWi) on the back of my 64GB iPad with silver glitter-glue, so fundamentally I'm in the same boat. Can I please have a title?
 
Well just to be back on topic I have used mine in doctors offices, hairdressers, coffee shops, restaurants, airports, hotels, bookstores.

Probably wouldn't use mine at a gas station though -- too nasty!

And no so far I've only not had wifi at a restaurant at a fancy resort -- which I did find shocking.. Otherwise wifi seems to be everywhere I go.

So it appears I was right -- I don't need no stinkin' 3G! :p

Oh and I drive a BMW too!

Should us wifi people have a sig too? I don't need no stinkin' 3G!

Damn it is SO hard to type "stinkin" on an iPad with it's autocorrect. Gotta be
supermotivated!

Yeah mcdonalds is a big no no for me, but perhaps I just haven't taken it to school seeing as the semester is almost over and feel I'd have to be focusing on school rather than whipping out an ipad huts to mess around with and kill time.

Taking it to the movies sounds like a good idea, I'll definitely be taking the ipad to a dodgers game this summer....with the MLB app! Oh man I cant wait.

Your story does not mention the trophy wife or the rolex ................. I therefore give it a 6/10 :D
 
I've used my 32GB WiFi at Starbucks, the Mall at Millenia, McDonald's and Panera Bread.

I've used it in conjunction with a Verizon MiFi card at EPCOT Center, Downtown Disney, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Pollo Tropical, Mall at Millenia, Panda Express, at home.

Posting right now from the McDonald's across from the Mall at Millenia.
 
I use my 64G iPad 3G at work, the mall, the park, BBQs, boring parties, and my car. BTW, how does a 1970 Karmann Ghia rate?
 
Mainly starbucks for me, if I had the 3G I am sure I would use it more but now starbucks is the closest place with wifi
 
I use mine pretty much anywhere I can when I go out. I used mine today at Quiznos on my lunch hour. The guy behind me in line asked me about how I liked it and said he just got the 3G one on Monday.

Pretty much everywhere except when I am eating. I am a messy eater, I would mess this thing up royally.
