Tried using ours on a trip. It failed on WIFI consistently at the hotel.
Put it in the bag for 3 days, and used my computer.
I don't think I've ever heard you say anything good about Apple. I am surprised you even have an iPad.

So far, I've used it at an Uno's twice, and on an Amtrak Acela Express twice. Only one stranger has asked me about it, but I've noticed others sneaking glances - but I have very consciously taken a "leave me alone" disposition that may have discouraged some questions.

my friend loves shoving his ipad in front of my face. he uses it for. . .i dont know really. but he brings it to work and he thinks he's all mighty with one. makes me wanna take his ipad and shove it inside his a$$. lol.
I drive a 2003 ford focus and an ipad 3g 16gb..I'm a college student with a part-time job as a waiter..and I didn't buy an ipad as an accessory to the BMW I don't have..I bought an ipad cuz it facilitates my busy schedule while at the go fulfilling my entertainment needs...I don't need to show off.

Believe it or not, I'm actually hoping these devices become a bit more prevalent, swear it seems I'm the only one at my college that has one. I get a lot of people talking about it, but i hate being "that iPad guy". It's not a showoff thing you know, it's for fun and i don't want to be self conscious about it haha

I got a lot of looks and people asking questions about mine at both Chicago Midway and Tuscon airports this week. I think I convinced an older couple to by one for their daughter lol
But seriously, the iPad 3G was a DREAM both during flights and during my stay at the hotel. Can't wait to travel with it again this week... so much better than taking my laptop!!

i dont have an ipad but when i get one in the next week or 2 (im in the military and waiting for my drill money to come in) i shall be getting the 32g/3g/$729. i have nothing to really offer this topic but i just wanted to say i think this bj guy is hilarious. just fair warning though, i hope for your sake Obama isnt reading these forums otherwise he might want to take you BMW and 64gb/3g/$829 from you and give it to those people at the gas station or some other low income family who dont want to work for anything and rather wait for the govt. to provide them with the things they want. either that or they'll just save up their welfare checks and use that to buy an iPad instead of idk, food or clothing or rent. you know cause those ppl have their priorities all straightened out.

Sure I have. Love my other apple products, I'm just had bad luck with the wifi on this product; which essentially makes it unusable without a solid connection.

Your wifi issues sound more like a defect than intrinsic nature of the device. I suggest seeing if Apple will exchange it for you under warranty. Wifi works great for me and, I think, for most people - though a significant number of iPads apparently have wifi problems.
My iPad does sometimes forget a network's password the first time I try to reconnect. If I cancel and try again, it remembers. That bug is minor enough that it doesn't bother me. Aside from that, no problems or complaints. I also have the 3g model, so I can use it even if wifi isn't available or is really flaky.
First off I'm supposed to say "thank you for joining the millitary, blah blah, my family really appreciates it, blah blah, good luck getting a job and hot girlfriend when your tour is over, blah blah..." So there. I said it.
Next, President Obama has ensured that 40% of my income goes to support those who can't afford iP3G's so I'm contributing to the poor and the homeless more than almost any other poster on MacRumors.
