Does anyone know whether the Blue or the Green is more like the B&W G3 color? Looks like the Green?

Thanks! This looks great and is just what I need for a dark computer cubby. Can’t wait to try it!It comes with a very strong tape that you just attach. I would strongly recommend getting it, and if you have quite a big desk, maybe get the two pack as you can set each one to a different colour.
Got a Blue T7 coming today and will see if I want to fix to foot back or a hidden shelf that will be behind my macDoes anyone who's received their iMac have a Samsung T5/T7 and can show how it might fit stuck to the back of the stand below the power cord cut-out? Is there enough room? Thanks in advance!

I like!! Blends really well with that space.View attachment 1779818
I picked mine up today. Not sure about this machine as I have a 2013 i7 iMac which was working well and was used as a secondary computer....not sure if the $2800CDN is worth the upgrade. Even if I sell the 2013 for about $800, it's still a $2,000 price difference. Not to mention I have an M1 MacBook Air as my main computer. First world problems huh?. Something to think about over the next 2 weeks. But it is a beautiful machine with great speed and a gorgeous 4.5k monitor!
ive gone from a 2011 27 to the 24 but cant let you know yet as its still under my desk in the box ,will know later todayCongratulations to all! Spectacular!
Have any of you gone from a 27" NOT RETINA iMac (2012 or 2013) to the new 24" M1 iMac?
How do you find? At the native resolution level, how is the readability of the texts?
Is it a feasible size downgrade? I have no way to do a live check at the moment, what do you think?
I don't think a future 30" is for me, and therefore I would like to understand if I can opt for this model.

It's not exactly the same setup, but I'm using my M1 iMac side by side with a 27" 2560x1440 display (same size&resolution as 27" non retina iMac). Scaling is fantastic, since objects on the M1 screen are physically the same size as on the external display (same logical 109 PPI). I can see the retina/non-retina difference, but for the most part it doesn't bother me. I use the retina screen for text.Congratulations to all! Spectacular!

If you want both, you pay for the trackpad. If you just want the trackpad, you pay $50 more.Am I getting this right ! So if you select the trackpad you lose the mouse ?
The mouse comes with the iMac , but if you want both you also pay for the mouse😙.
yes there is room, around 1/2 inch each side between cutout and base, amazingly small drives wowDoes anyone who's received their iMac have a Samsung T5/T7 and can show how it might fit stuck to the back of the stand below the power cord cut-out? Is there enough room? Thanks in advance!
Thnx Mr BlackyIf you want both, you pay for the trackpad. If you just want the trackpad, you pay $50 more.
I still have an older 2013 27” iMac. Honestly, I think all the concerns I heard here on MR about the size of the screen were overblown. I have the new 24” in a different space and it feels nearly as large to me, at the least for the work I do with spreadsheets. A gamer might feel differently. The resolution and brightness of this new screen is nothing short of amazing. But the speed of the M1 chip and SSD storage is the main reason I am satisfied with this purchase.Congratulations to all! Spectacular!

Good. I've been waiting to see a side-by-side comparison with a 27" monitor. I would also use the retina screen for text. With the iMac as the main display, how much do you notice the loss of screen real estate? It's not exactly the same setup, but I'm using my M1 iMac side by side with a 27" 2560x1440 display (same size&resolution as 27" non retina iMac). As you can see, my desk is just a bit too small to fit 2x27" displays, so the 24"+27" is perfect.
Yeah. The only way I’m giving up my UltraFine 5K as my second screen is if Apple has a matching display.I wish Apple would make a standalone display that goes into this iMac. I'd get one in a heartbeat. It's perfect size and DPI to connect to my MacBook while I'm not on the move. Please, Apple!
Hah, looks awesome! One random question: is there a magnet in the bottom of that Amiibo Peach? Do you think that could mess with the HDD it’s sitting on top of?
Yes, May 21st was a big Apple day for me. The 12.9 M1 iPad Pro was taking a back seat to the pretty green iMac, but its quickly becoming a favorite. And I love how seamlessly it become s a second screen for the iMac!Very nice. A lot of new Apple bling on that table. I need my shades on. The style and simplicity is very bright (in a good way).![]()
