It’s the bezels that ruin it for me. The watch faces, designed for the series 7/8 look terrible with the bezels. They probably could have easily made it bezel-less…but probably leaving that for the Ultra 2.
And? People can wear sport watches with suits. My brother wears a Garmin dive watch into court. Who cares what people wear their watch with.I’d agree but Ive seen people wearing these monstrosities with suits on so yeah….that’s that theory out of the way
The bezel gives it strength and ruggedness. I very much doubt you will see an Ultra 2 without one. It’s the bezels that ruin it for me. The Reverso is a classic and quite popular with younger people too. That’s hideous.
1910 wants their watch back. Great grand dad is going to need it when he sends off to the Great War.
The watch faces designed for the apple watch pretty much look terrible on all of the models regardless of bezel or not. Most of them don't really take advantage of the full screen or give the faces any depth anyway. They are flat and not thought out. The wayfinder is ok, i like some of the Nike faces. I just think they ALL could be much more thought at and branded by apple. It’s the bezels that ruin it for me. The watch faces, designed for the series 7/8 look terrible with the bezels. No, it doesn’t. They are correct. The watch is way too large. It’s simple: if the watch lugs hang over the edges of your wrist, it’s too large for you.I think it looks great! But all that matters is how you feel, not somebody else. My wrist is 170mm and I love the way it looks.
It is completely ridiculous for you to claim what is appropriate for another person unless that person wanted your opinion. No, it doesn’t. They are correct. The watch is way too large. It’s simple: if the watch lugs hang over the edges of your wrist, it’s too large for you.

Well excuse me for having my own taste and thinking for myself. Next time I’m tempted to do so I’ll send you a message first to check if my opinion is suitable for and in line with the masses. We can’t have anybody having a different opinion in these troubling times. No, it doesn’t. They are correct. The watch is way too large. One of my favorite song lyrics, from the band Senser - "Fashion is something so ugly it has to be changed every 15 minutes".Yes fashion is a set of rules that everyone lives by. Just see the top musical artists, and most of the people on the street for examples of following strict social guidelines for what to wear relative to your body size.
That reminds me I need to get a few pairs of undergarments since the rules say i have to wear my jeans below my buttocks.
^^ This is a fine strawman argument. Advising someone on how objectively to determine fit is not the same thing as telling someone what is appropriate. These are different things. What @Dianneeraser said was very uncontroversial and common advice. As the following article states: "If you want to go big, the general rule of thumb is to select a watch with lugs that do not extend beyond the width of your wrist." This rule of thumb has been around for a long time and offers a way to objectively determine a good fit. So, it is clearly NOT RIDICULOUS but rather GOOD ADVICE.It is completely ridiculous for you to claim what is appropriate for another person unless that person wanted your opinion.
You are mischaracterizing the discussion. Offering a general rule of thumb or offering advice is very different than making a definite statement about another user's preference.^^ This is a fine strawman argument. What? What's wrong with skinny jeans?Skinny Jeans.
That should end all sense of correct sizing and fashion in this thread.
What? What's wrong with skinny jeans?
Care to elaborate? They generally look good, they're comfortable, what is it that I'm missing?Everything.
