McDonalds is a company, same with Apple and Samsung. While iPhone is a product. So yeah, Samsung is still McDonalds.
The iphone is the ONLY phone they sell....so it still fits.....

For the average user, Steve was correct about the stylus. For students and dedicated note takers, Steve was wrong. For artists and professionals, Steve was wrong.

The question isn't, "Should Apple's iDevices incorporate a stylus?". The question should be, "Is Apple's focus on the average user or the professional/student?". The issue of a stylus depends on the answer to the above question.

I agree that a stylus is good for students/note takers and artist types, but are those people really getting that kind of use with it on their phone? A tablet I could see, but even with the larger phones right now using a stylus still seems very impractical.

Where did I say I hate Samsung or even McDonalds?

It's funny how it's okay for you to attact other brand with an analogy, and when the analogy is countered with better arguments and you LOST the argument, you call them troll.

You were using Apple to McDonald analogy and then someone said Samsung is more like McDonald and I agree with him.

Do you know why McDonalds sells a lot? One of the reason is because their burger is cheap and affordable to many. Do you know why Samsung sells a lot? Because they have variety of low end products that are cheap and affordable to many. Now do you think iPhone is cheap and affordable to many? So which one is more similar to McDonalds, Apple or Samsung?

It was clear that Samsung is better analogy to McDonalds rather than Apple. Thats my ONLY point. But if you still think the opposite, then their is no point doing a LOGICAL argument with you since you just want to blindly defend Samsung and get offended on every statement with Samsung name in it.

Now I'm saying it again for the last time and for your own good, stop embarrassing yourself.

Who cares? I learned how to type when I was 12. Why do I need to write with an external tool when the device I am using has a keyboard?
well, i have m.sc. degree and i feel it is a bit akward to write e.g. chemical formulaes or bonds between atoms just by a default keyboard. i can do those stuff much quicker with a pen...

You still haven't answered the question. Avoid much?

Do you have an Android phone? If so which one......

I don't see why this question is relevant to our argument, but so does every other post you made.

I owned few Blackberry devices in the past (including BB10). I have S3 mini, which I put specific sim card for cheap international call. Currently I have with me, HTC One M7 (purple tinted), SGS3, and Nexus 5. I got the first two from father and brother to be sold, but it's still with me and and I just bought a brand new Nexus 5.

Do I have to take pic of all those devices altogether to proof I'm no trolling?

We get a lot of Samsung haters from the other sections here to troll. They hate Samsung and all things Android. We get a lot of people that have had a bad experience with the above so they continuously post hateful after hateful posts here about Android and Samsung. So if you hate Android or Samsung.....do something more constructive with your time than post the hate here.......

Check my post here in MR and see if there is any post attacking Android or Samsung just for the sake of hating. Most of the time I'm just responding post which I think I have a different opinion. That's the point of a forum, isn't it?

On the other hand, it's going to be very easy for me to find your hating post against iPhones.

No hating from me for the iPhone. I actually have one. ..... I am in the alternative section. Not the iPhone section. I actually think it is it one of the best phones I have ever had. The camera is awesome! Most of the products I post an opinion on comes from owning the device .....

The reason I like this alternative forum is because I can get a balance information compare to other site, even some review sites. Sure there are trolls here from both sides, but other than that its very useful especially if you want to decide between phones.

I've seen your iPhone 6 review thread and it's pretty good. Looking forward for your opinions and other reviews in the future.

iPhone 5C 16GB is as expensive as Galaxy S5, Note 3, and LG G3 here in Indonesia and its the oldest-released phone of those 4.

What kind of stylus should I buy? Should I buy the large tipped one or the other large tipped one? How about the styli that use clever but clumsy tricks to mimic a fine tipped stylus?

No thank you. I want a true stylus that offers a precise tip and thousands of levels of pressure sensitivity. Again, I don't see how this is a bad thing when it's obvious that Apple will never shift away from their current paradigm of using the finger as the primary input device. I see it as a quality addition to an already quality product.

An iPad is clearly not designed for or suitable for your use now is it? Maybe you should pickup a surface 3 or similar. Some artists are able to work with practically any medium and others cannot, just know your limits.

I have an MS in Accounting and analyzing financial statements is horrible on my phone, which is why I use a MacBook. Your point was what?

Note 3 has it. I can't see the impractical since the S-Pen is really optional. You don't HAVE to use it. I wouldn't use it to dial a number, and probably not for browsing....

I don't want a Surface. Even though I like the tech Microsoft just doesn't have the software. I don't want to use desktop software on a tablet, I want software designed for a mobile device with a UI that easier to use and interact with. Plus, the Surface costs as much as a laptop, no thanks.

Additionally, I'm up to my eyes in the Apple ecosystem. The last thing I want is a new device with a new ecosystem just so I can draw. No thanks. I'll stick to pencil and paper because I highly doubt Apple shifts their focus onto professionals when they're making a **** ton of money off of the lower hanging fruit.

That smacked of the very elitism most Apple fans are accused of....

Nope, and let me tell you why. Many people seem to take it as a pox on all styli. And it is true that Apple devices don't have them. But when I heard it, I looked at the device he made fun of. The stylus wasn't just an option, it was basically mandatory. And if you simply have to use a stylus to use the device, as opposed to it being a good option, then you're stuck in the past and need to move on to the future.

Which device was he making fun of? I think the worst offenders were the windows mobile phones, but that was a bit overstated IMO as you could do many of the styli functions with key combinations, such as closing an app, you were not necessarily stuck with using the stylus on the tiny little X in the corner.

But yeah I think we've established that Jobs was essentially right in terms of not being forced to use a stylus to navigate the UI, definitely agree. But at the same time he may have been wrong in not including the option, although that's very opinionated and obviously the sales numbers favor him. But how do we know that if Apple had a stylus on the first iPhone it wouldn't have become a must have feature on all smartphones like some of the original iPhones features have become.
