is the iMac touch screen now???

(probably likely 2 be a stupid "PC" user question)

I thought this was a forum discussing stupid questions from PC users, not Mac users.

I think it's pretty generally accepted that the iMac comes with a keyboard!

Perhaps proof that it's not only PC users who are morons!;)

I read it, but, despite currently writing up my Doctoral Thesis in Cognative Neuronal Interpretation, I didnt quite understand if it was a dig at me or some kind of abstract joke?

Heres a good one (dont know what happened to my previous post)

Vista User (So called IT expert): "Why would you buy a laptop from apple, all the reports say they are rubbish"
Me: (Staring in disbelief) Right, we are talking about your os right?

I then asked him to name one report and guess what he could not. I then pointed out the report about the fastest vista laptop thing and he went into straight denile mode. I then asked him were his laptop came from and when he said dell, i laughed in his face and he could not understand why.

Going back on someone who mentioned PC World....

Before I emigrated last year I got my mate to buy an Imac for the family. Mainly so we could chat on ichat & skype and so I wouldn't get calls about why his windows laptop was dying...

Anyway... so we were in PC World (not my choice) and we were chatting to the numpty who worked there. He asked my mate why he wanted one and said that I recommended it and that they were more stable blah lah blah (you know the drill). The guy looked at me and started asking me what I knew about Apple Macs. I told him I'd used them for years, had 3 iMacs, 1 G4 Desktop, 1 G5 desktop and ibook and now a top of the range 17" Macbook pro.

He then told me about his brand new state of the art top of the line "Quad-core Macbook Pro" with 8gb of Ram. I looked at him and said they don't make a quad-core macbook pro and certainly not with 8gb of Ram. He replied "yes they do. I just got mine from Vegas. I was at the latest convention". This was in May. No convention in May.

So I repeated, they don't make quad-core macbook pros. They need huge heatsinks (I don't know if they do or don't but he was really starting to annoy the sh*t out of me). I told him I'd owned numerous Apple Macs over the years. I know the product. I'm always checking out the website for the latest stuff to buy. I'm a total Apple Geek!!

Then he tried to sell my mate the extra warranty. I told him don't bother. If you want extra warranty buy the Apple one. The guy looked p*ssed. Realy p*ssed. Anyway we asked for extras and he wasn't budging. No printer cable, no nothing. Told my mate not to bother. He did buy from the pompous little git against my advice. But PC World! Mega cr*p. Useless staff. Ignorant. Thick as sh*t and have no idea what they're talking about. Oh and by the way. This guy was the Apple Specialist who reckoned he's had training by Apple themselves! Yeah right.

My mate is ecstatic with his Mac. Loves it to bits. Couldn't live without it. His kids are always on it. They use it as a family all the time and guess what! No viruses. That's what killed his old laptop in the end.

well I would have to say there is less software, however most software for windows costs money and is garbage. There is a ton of nice freeware for macs.
