My biggest issue is I tried going the IUP route, and got told they couldn't verify my identity, So I don't know what the hell that means. The guy from Citizen put in a request to have it manually looked at. He said usually, we would have more info on it, if its was a specific issue, but its a vague responds. But my biggest issue is, what should I do in the meantime? He said its would take 4 business days for someone to get back to me. I tried looking this issue up, and couldn't find anything. So incase I get denied for any-reason. Should I do the Apple Card Installments plan, Or just go with T-Mobile once again? I like to upgrade yearly and given the fact that I just paid off my 11 Pro Max on JOD. I don't know if I wanna get stuck into JOD again. But JoD usually has the cheaper pricing option. I know my 512Gb was only $370 down last year, compared to EIP pricing.

I would go the Apple Card route as you get 3% back and you can always pay off the phone early if the next year's model is so awesome...
If not awesome, then continue to enjoy the 0% interest for 24 months.

I paid off the Citizen's Loan early so that I have a device that is worth something.

Not a fan of JOD or NEXT or other lease programs - you never own the phone at the end...

So now I am trading in the phone I paid off and using the trade in value.....

Never owning the phone was the entire point for me. I did years of selling the phone in private sales and to various trade companies and got sick of it.

Yeah, I'm thinking of doing that. I just wish you know that Citizen's would given me more info. The email states "Applicant's Identity Cannot Be Verified". I probably will just do the AC route as you stated.

I feel the same way at times, because this 11 Pro Max 512gb costed me $1,500? I don't remember the actual price. But the pricing for a used model currently is about $1,000. Which means sure I got to use it for a full year at $500. But the issues you could have selling locally is also worry some. I wouldn't risk my life over a phone.

All I know is I want the 12 just not sure if I want the blue or green. I do love my purple 11 but the 12 seems like an actual upgrade.
I'm going with the 12 Pro this time over the Pro Max, The screen while amazing and huge. Its just hard to use with one hand. So I think I'll like the smaller screen size this time. Plus its not really that much smaller.

Just an FYI

3% Daily Cash is available for purchases using Apple Card with Apple Pay in T‑Mobile U.S. stores, and bill payments and AutoPay on t‑mobile.com and in the T‑mobile app. Authorized T‑Mobile dealers are not eligible for 3% Daily Cash and can be found on t‑mobile.com/store-locator. Sprint account payments, and purchases made through any Sprint checkout, including those at T‑Mobile U.S. stores, are not eligible for 3% Daily Cash.

I set that up last night to pay my T-Mobile bill. What I was wondering why I only got 1% cash back. I guess my brain missed the part about using Apple Pay with the Apple Card. Can’t use auto pay to get the 3% cash back. I am signed up for t-Mobile auto pay which gets me s T-Mobile discount. So I figure I will leave it as auto pay but just manually pay it off with Apple Pay the day before the auto pay happens to keep the discount.

So I've never pre-ordered through Tmobile before, always pre-ordred straight from Apple. This year I'm thinking about pre-ordering from Tmobile. So do T-mobile pre-orders usually get delivered on launch day?
My X did, yes.

I’m trying the Sprint priority status ordering. I figured it would all be exactly like Tmobile now. Wonder if the phones will be different?

Good luck to everyone preordering tomorrow. Been a while since I’ve done this. What’s fastest when having to order and trade in a phone - Ordering off website, 611 or chat?

I’ve had success with 611. I always called in 5 minutes before pre-orders go live, got connected with a rep and everything from then on was smooth sailing.

Quick question, when you order over the phone, do they charge a service fee or upgrade fee? I thought they do, but if you do it via website or the app, they waive the fee?

Getting 2 iPhone 12 64gb for my parents (upgrading and trading in the 7+ that has only 32gbs Lol)... don't know what color tho... either 2 blacks, or one black and one red or white...

and getting myself the iPhone 12 Pro Max 256gb (upgrading from the Xs Max 256gb) in black.

How straightforward would it be to switch from ATT to Tmobile as well as preorder two iPhone 12pro's tomorrow when preorder starts. Is that too much too coordinate given the probable volume of calls? I am still debating whether better just to preorder with the Apple Update program and then switch later? If the cycle was 24 months and not 30 it would somehow be easier to accept.

In the past they didn’t charge me one but I’m sure they do now. I know via app or online they don’t.

In order to take advantage of the trade in offer and loyalty rebate for existing customers, do you have to order the phone directly through T-Mobile or can you order through Apple.com ose the T-Mobile carrier installment plan? How do you initiate the trade-in?

I assume they obviously can handle the trade in over the phone too. Been four years since I’ve preordered with T-Mobile and can’t remember if I called in or used the website last time.

You could actually setup autopay with Apple Pay. I have it on mine and it gives me 3% back
